Having issues with audio settings, especially with MT-32 and Day of the Tentacle
I am having a few issues when trying to setup MT-32 emulation, I have been Googling for the last two hours and was not able to find much information on this, and what little I could find is from years ago that does not even apply to the current versions of ScummVM anymore. First thing I wanted to as...

Re: Configuring a game through a custom .ini file
I'm not familiar with this game. However, there are more scaling options - just play with them. Personally, I prefer "HQ3X", but it's probably a matter of taste. Also, have you tried turning on "Aspect ratio correction"? Yes, I tried turning on Aspect Ratio Correction, it's show...

Re: Configuring a game through a custom .ini file
Yeah, sadly it's using an older version of ScummVM for the Steam version that does not have those features, and was never updated, and it does not have any scaling modes. Thanks for the tip about Control+F5, that worked, I was able ot kick the game back into the launcher. Yeah, it's 1.7.0 as the ini...

Re: Configuring a game through a custom .ini file
That worked, thank you. I had to put the "gfx_mode=" line under the game's settings, seems like it was not working if I put it under the general ScummVM settings, even though that was where I put the fullscreen setting. (Strangely, this behavior seemed to persist even when I tried loading ...

Configuring a game through a custom .ini file
I have tried reading all over the Wiki for help on this, as well as Googling it, but can't come up with any answers. They mostly expect you to either use commandline (and even that is not clearly explained) or just the GUI. Thing is, neither of those are an option for me. I purchased some games on S...

Is there a way to add more than one game at once?
I loved ScummVM when I found out about it years ago and found myself buying a lot of it's supported games over the years since point and click are one of my favorite genras (and pretty much all but dead in modern gaming). I reformatted my system recently and made a backup up my games directory for S...

Re: Do I no longer need the Short Game Name?
However, what you usually see in ScummVM is the description of the game, e.g. "The Secret of Monkey Island", instead of "monkey1". Yes, I know the difference between the description and foldernames. What I am asking was if its not possible to just name the folders whatever you w...

Do I no longer need the Short Game Name?
I havent updated ScummVM in a LONG time, and noticed that a lot of thigns have changed now.
Can I now name my games something like "Monkey Island 1" or "Loom CD" instead of "monkey" or "loomcd"?
Is there any point to the short game name anymore?
