Controls on HP Touchpad

Hi there, First i`d like t congratulate the developer on the webOS port, it plays amazingly well on my touchpad! I looked at the wiki and did some searching but I can't find any information on the controls for the HP Touchpad that work to bring up the menu or keyboard. Once I start a game, the only ...

Touchscreen mode for Samsung Galaxy S2?

Hi There, Just wanted to say I recently got a Samsung Galaxy S2, and found Scummvm works great on here, but it seems to be only stuck in touchpad mode (i.e moving your finger around the screen to push the cursor). Is there any option for touchscreen mode (cursor going to where finger is pressed)? Al...

I know that the file sharing issue is a tricky one. Apple's terms dictate that while apps CAN run interpreted code, they cannot load external files via iTunes if doing so. However, I think iDOS has shown us that it is possible to technically meet their terms while skirting the issue. The app cannot...

Hi! Just to let you know that I'm talking about Secret of Monkey Island 1 Talkie mod, I haven't tried the Monkey Island 2 mod yet! All I did was run the batch file on my version of SOMI:SE on my PC, and selected OGG output. I copied this to my SD card of my Desire, and in ScummVM, I added the direct...

I just stumbled onto this thread, and tried it out with my MI:SE. I'm pleasantly surprised by how well it works, what a brilliant effort! So far I've only tried this in ScummVM with the SE audio, and speech, which works excellent! Kudos to LogicDeluxe :) Thanks! Why is this thread in the Junkyard?? ...

I redownloaded 0.11.1 and the Midi is working fine through this again. The midi definitely comes through in version 1.1.1, but some of the instruments are messed up. As per your recommendation, I will try version 0.12 as well, and anything further subsequently. I will also check the SVN, although w...

Re: Using Roland CM-32LN with Monkey Island, get midi,no eff

Now the music sounds wrong completely, with missing instruments, and a weird tinkle-bell sound in place of where some other instruments were meant to play. It has also affected Monkey Island 2, and Indiana Jones: FOA which would play perfect before, but now some instruments have been replaced with ...

Re: Using Roland CM-32LN with Monkey Island, get midi,no eff

I configure it so that I have TRUE MT-32 checked, and also Mixed/Adlib mode checked. This works for Monkey Island 2 fine for Midi and effects, but on Monkey Island, I only get the midi, and no sound effects, i.e, doors opening, seagulls, boiling pot. That is strange. Usually when you select "M...

[Updated] Broken Midi - OSX ver 1.3.1 - Wrong Instruments

Hi All, I recently got a Roland CM-32LN, which has been working great for MT-32 music in SCUMMVM on my mac, but I am currently having problems with Secret of Monkey Island VGA/DOS floppy version. I configure it so that I have TRUE MT-32 checked, and also Mixed/Adlib mode checked. This works for Monk...

Without spoiling too much, I don't think 'no easy mode' is a big deal. Some dialogue is different, and really the affected puzzles are either more truncated, or cut from the hard mode, but not much is being missed without it. It would be nice to have been included for the option, but then so would t...
