Thank you for the information.
So they merely located the Westwood back-up tapes, but didn't actually search through them to see what was actually on them? So, in otherwords, they didn't actually confirm if the Kyrandia source code existed?

Kyrandia/Lands of Lore EA Source Code
At one time "Ender" and "LordHoto" were working to get the Kyrandia source code and said that EA confirmed that they had it at some point. I am presently working with E.A. to find this. We need to know who they were talking to at the time. They don't log in the forums anymore. Do...

Kyrandia 1 FM-TOWNS - opening TWMUSIC.PAK
Does anyone know how to extract the music files out of TWMUSIC.PAK for the FM-TOWNS version of Kyrandia 1? (Since that version of the game is supported in SCUMMVM, someone must know.) Note: All the other .PAK files in the Japanese versions (both PC-98 and FM-TOWNS) are in the same format as the PC v...

King's Quest VI Amiga Music Format
Does anyone have any information about the music format used in King's Quest VI for Amiga? - I'm having trouble even finding exactly which files the music files are... (It looks like the data is encoded?) - If anyone has done any looking into it... Does it use a custom format? Does it use MIDI data ...

Need Return to Zork saved games
With the new release of scumm, I deleted my entire old version and the saved games for Return to Zork don't work with the new one. I deleted them, figuring I would have enough time to go through the entire game again. At the moment, I do not, although I need to quickly check a few things at the Cita...

I am assuming the 23 second one is the last of these three: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QxZgwQdd70 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCa3XuGM7yI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6RpHdhJl1M The top two may have been one attempt to make the Planetfall game and the third one was a different attempt as ...

Does anyone have the Zork Anthology?
Does anyone have the Zork Anthology collection on cd? I believe it came with two things I am interested in (since I sold my copy awhile back) One is a demo movie of the Return to Planetfall, and the other is a short interactive demo (as opposed to the non-interactive one) for Return to Zork. Thanks ...

I actually went through and compared all the files (in a hex editor) to see which XMI from the floppy and CD version were the same and which were not (most of the differences are very very minute, but I included every file that was differt regardless). I also included the MID from the MAC version. H...

Yeah, there are several items not used in the game, as well as a bit more text. What I am really interested in seeing if there are more unused images. At one time I messed around with the saved game files and found out that many more photos could be added to your photo book, but in the game itself t...

Re: Which games would you like to be supported on the future?
I'd really like to see the MAC version of Return to Zork supported -- 640x480 resolution as opposed to 320x200, SVGA instead of VGA, TONS OF MPEG video, more animations, etc... Overall, a much better version of the game.

Does anyone happen to have the short interactive demo from Return to Zork? I think it may have been included on the Zork Anthology CD (or possibly even the Return to Zork CD itself). I remember it was very short, consisting of the mountain pass, lighthouse and then ending when you took the raft down...

Return to Zork file formats
Now that Return to Zork is playable, is there a program or a way that one can extract the images from the data and view them outside of the game?
