The crash after resume got fixed recently, you need to use a nightly build or 1.0 when its released. COMI is slow for me as well, using uncompressed data should be worth a try but didn't make a difference for me. To me it seems the bottleneck is the File-IO (Memstick-LED flashing heavily). Might be ...

It's the German version with the dark skin. Played on Windows 2000 with the ScummVM version you provided: ScummVM 0.14.0svn (Jun 20 2009 23:34:34) Features compiled in: zLib Good, gonna compile another Win32 Version after some more double-checking Something is cooking there. The same sound is playe...

Now played the entire game with that special ScummVM version and compared it on my Amiga 1200. Here are the things I noticed: Thanks, which MI (language?) and ScummVM-Versions did you use (PC,Linux,PSP)? - Some musics annoyingly restart at certain points despite they are playing already. Most notic...

it's great you're doing this, glad it's going well :D i'd be tempted to give it a test, but i'm on a mac. i see you have a branch on the svn - i've never used branches before, do i just download the branch and that will be everything i need, or do i need to do something to combine it with the trunk...

The general consensus seems to be that Amiga has the best sound. I don't know about that... I haven't been particularly impressed by the recordings I've heard of LucasArts's Amiga music. My favorite version of the Secret of Monkey Island music is the DOS CD-ROM version, but I don't know if that mea...

First only, the second already works (and sound is inferior to MSDOS Versions, unlike MI 1)Red_Breast wrote:Congratulations.
I only have the PC CD versions but it was only yesterday I noticed on EBay quite a few Amiga versions. I'm very tempted now.
Is this for the first and second games in the series?

Re: MONKEY: Wrong Palette for Amiga-Versions
...Very good nolange. Please note that I don't claim to be correct, and really I'm pleased you proved me to be wrong. I'm just a tester and I've zero experience with real world C programming and graphics formats: I like seeing people reasoning together :D . I've just replied DrMcCoy, that said scum...

@DrMcCoy: I'm pleased you proved me to be wrong. After all, my actual wish was to ask for a double check palettes in scummvm. At this point there are various hypothesis: - scummvm palettes had been always correct, because the dev (quietust?) who grabbed colors using winuae did it in a smart way. - ...

Re: MONKEY: Wrong Palette for Amiga-Versions
@nolange: I realize you opened this bug report to see 2) solved. I wanted to talk with you personally before intervening, but kirben asked me to disccus here, so I did. It seems you are convinced that: a) is impossible to map amiga native colors, as a 12bit palette is not a subset of a 24bit palett...

Help testing Amiga Monkey Island + Sound!
Hi, Im implementing sound support for the Amiga-Versions of Monkey Island and Kyrandia during Googles "Summer of Code". I already more or less finished the work on Monkey Island, and this means I could need feedback for the game. So if you own the game then get yourself playing  Note...
