Ice theme updated
So, after downloading a recent SVN build, I finally sat down and recreated my theme. http://wnivek.home.att.net/wnthemes.zip you'll note there's three themes there - one changes the layout ('ModernStream'), one changes the color & cursors ('Ice'), and one combines the two ('IceStream'). http://w...

Whoa, someone's still interested in this? That makes me happy. :) Gimme some time, I'll take a look at the new format and see about redoing the theme. Edit: whoops, not quite the thread I thought this was... still, the Wii theme was apparently based on my own Ice theme, so recreating that wou...

ScummVM already supports simulation of the IBM PCjr sound chip, with which the Tandy sound-chip in question was attempting to be compatible. While I agree that it doesn't sound as good as the clip you provided (I can't say if that's because of the different chips or just an imperfect simulation), it...

That should be all you need, right there.Laserschwert wrote:Note that some tracks are included twice, and some aren't included at all. Here we go (my track number coming first, the file name it should get coming second)

Did you install ScummVM to the Program Files folder? Is it trying to put the saved-games in the same, or a sub-folder? If so, then look in C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\[ScummVM folder] In Vista, whenever a program will try to save a file into Program Files, Windows q...

Re: A few issues with NES Maniac Mansion
I've noticed that every version of NES Maniac Mansion skips the initial screen and the Lucasfilm Games logo. Is this intentional, for some reason? As I understand it, that logo screen is hard-coded in the game cartridge, not scripted for the game's in-built SCUMM interpreter. Since SCUMM VM is play...

chojin: Nice work on the theme. :) Looks sorta familiar... :P Lostech: Thank you for taking to time to update my Ice theme to conform to spec version 23. Until seeing this thread, I hadn't realized that the version currently online was non-functional for current versions of ScummVM, as my revision l...

 Wow, people are still interested in my theme? Thanks Kaminari! :D I've actually been privately maintaining my own version of the theme, updating it when I find it suddenly doesn't work anymore. I'd been telling myself I'd release shortly after the 0.10.0 release, but kinda forgot. Here it is...

The protection screen for Ween was never bypassed in any revision afaik Actually the US version published by Sierra - under the name The Prophecy (no Ween in the title)- had no copy protection. I don't know if that change was enacted in the executable or the data files, but current builds of ScummV...

A Doom port within ScummVM would be hilarious, if a tad out of character. Imagine though...ScummVM begins as an adventure game interpreter replacement...but eventually ends up absorbing every other emulator / source port / reverse engineering job out there, and becomes it's own operating system or ...
