i have been continually searching "ween" - no wonder I couldnt find it. Yeah, the US version omitted 'Ween' from the title, and had its own title screen (which I prefer) Was there ever a CD version of this game? I'm not aware of one, but the manual does make references to a CD ROM version...

I got it on eBay, of course. :P It's not every day you can pick up a game like this for 12¢ Edit: There's another one, but one of the devs is bidding on it, so perhaps you should wait for another one to come by... There's also that vastly overpriced copy on amazon.com Edit2: swapped 'jump on it' a...

I finally got my copy of The Prophecy in the mail today. Disk 1 was slightly corrupted, but it seems to have only affected loader.exe, and I've managed to borrow a working version from the The Prophecy demo on my Gobliins 2 CD. One thing I've noticed... ScummVM renders the game with fewer colors tha...

  • *dir
    *vol.*
    object
    words.tok
edit: also, if you have an Apple IIgs version, I think you may wanna hold on to the file called sierrastandard

Rule 0: No Warez.
The patch provided by The Underdogs is not legal.

If you want Loom with VGA + digital audio, buy the PC CD-Rom version on eBay. (Or the FM-Towns version if you can find & afford it)

Unfortunately the palette didn't copy, but I was able to reconstruct enough of it to compare.
Also he's not in quite the same position as he was in your shot. Hopefully that isn't going to skew the results too much, though.

As luck would have it, I happen to have that Zero disk in the drawer beside me. This zip archive contains both an ST disk image, and the extracted demo files. As was previously noted, said demo does not currently run in ScummVM. And even if it did, it's not a proper playable demo... more just a slid...

There appears to be one copy of The Prophecy available through Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00070BLGA/ $89.95 US is significantly higher than I'd be comfortable paying, but it appears to be the US release, so perhaps someone with their hands in the Gob engine would want to take a look.

I currently don't have access to it, but the US release of Ween (entitled simply The Prophecy) has a significantly different title-screen from the european release, and lacks the color-code copy protection which Coktel Vision seems so fond of. Anyone know if ScummVM knows how to properly handle the ...

Glad you like it. :) It's a design I'd been kicking around for a while. Simple, but stylish.

Tried the ice theme with the latest SVN and it no longer works :( oops... yeah, I kinda got lazy and stopped updating it... sidetracked by other things, ya know? Gimme a sec, and I'll throw together a fixed version. ... Done! New version can be downloaded here . Note: The theme has changed names, f...

Anyone know if there ever was a CDROM version of Ween? I currently own the floppy version, and the booklet does mention something about the CD version not having the colour protection scheme. Couldn't find any information about the cdrom version on internet though. I'm not aware of a CD version, ho...

Even in the original executible, the Gobliiins intro video always seemed a little out of sync to me.

Is there an idiots guide to changing themes anywhere? I don't know where to put all those files. First off, don't extract the .zip. You can, but it's easier just to leave it. Now there are several ways to do this, which you could see if you actually looked at the first reply in the thread. I opted ...
