Re: Missing important feature in Android!!

Thank you very much, Praetorian. I spent a good amount of time trying to figure it out in the application and missed the documentation.

Have a great day ahead.

Missing important feature in Android!!

Hi guys, with the latest revamp to Android port after 2.5.0 (2.7.0 and 2.7.0.5) an important functionality was removed: onscreen keyboard on demand. It was replaced with the mouse type icon, to switch between direct mouse, touchpad or controller, but now you can't pull the keyboard unless the game p...

Re: COMI compressed data

Thanks for your reply, criezy. I agree with you that having both engines co-existing in the application would make the code more complex and harder to maintain. As you well mentioned, for now there is no compressing solution with the new engine. I also agree that introducing a new compression method...

Re: COMI compressed data

@criezy I noticed this new Digital iMuse engine was introduced in 2.6.0. Previous version 2.5.1 still supported compressed audio files for these games. I am a bit concerned because there are some ScummVM ports for low-end systems (such as Wii) that suffer from storage limitations (In the particular ...

I upgraded to official 1.5.0 release and it is experiencing the same problems. Scumm Engine games run awesome, but all SCI games result in codedump (SQ 3-5, LSL 5-6, etc). They ran fine in previous official build (1.3.1). It is also still experiencing the issue I posted some months ago detecting SQ4...

You need a Card Adapter (i.e. R4) in order to run homebrew in you DS/DSi/DSXL/3DS.

This does not modify/hack your device in anyway.

Thanks for your reply, fuzzie. The reason of my post here is because I was looking for a straight answer primarily from dhewg, Bossk or sev. So far, I know that only dhewg works in this port, and hardly any other developer would get involved. Since he has been a little away from the Wii scene this p...

Space Quest 4 (SCI) Spanish version not working on Wii port

I know this is no place to report bugs, we have the bug tracker for that, but I also know this port is no longer maintained, so I don't know if there is any use on reporting this issue there. In summary, what happens is that the Spanish version of Space Quest 4 is not properly detected by the Wii po...

No more official releases for Wii port?

It is sad for me to see that the Wii port is unofficially dead. I think it is a shame since the Wii console feels like home for ScummVM. The ability to use the Wiimote from your coach to point and click on your TV is unmatched by any other console so far. There are of course the nightly builds avail...

Re: Fixing numeric keyboard functionality?

So I dug up my copy of Indy 3 and tried it again on the Wii. Turns out that you can't fight in this game anymore. Wouldn't it be possible to just map the Nunchuk directions to those of the numeric pad? Although the ideal solution would be to map the virtual keyboard to the "1" button (lik...

That is great news, fingolfin! Thank you very much, and thank you for keep supporting this wonderful project through all these years. The Wii definitely suits ScummVM like home. It is so far the best way to play point and click adventures on a modern TV set. Let's hope dhewg does not abandon this po...

I hope you can find some time soon to work on this.

1.2.1 official build for Wii?

Hello dhewg!

Where is our 1.2.1 official build for Wii? :)

Being serious, can we expect an official build to be released for this version? Or will you only mantain the SVN nightly builds from now and on?

Thank you!
