Originally I thought that the original interpreter was required to identify the game or engine version or something. Is that not so anymore? Did I misunderstand? The interpreter exe was unpacked and checked before, but this code is long gone. The original interpreter isn't used at all. We are readi...

Ok, I will copy the whole CD and delete some file from which I think that they are not necessary. Just thought it would be easy to give a list for this game because I deleted the unnecessary files for all the other games (non SCI) which run in ScummVM according to the datafiles wiki page. I don't k...

All the large files are needed. You could delete the original interpreter(s), the original installer(s) and *some* of the driver-files (adlib driver adl.drv is required sometimes for example). Anyway this wouldn't really save much. Better just copy everything onto SD-card or harddrive and don't dele...

our sci engine already is capable of upscaling 320x200 screens. This is only done, when it's actually required. Like for example the japanese PC98 sierra games. Or King's Quest 6 windows version. Or Gabriel Knight 1 windows version. If you want to upscale regular games, just use a 2x/3x ScummVM scal...

Depends on the game. If you haven't overwritten any files, just delete the additional NRS files. Although this will break your sierra sci interpreter saves most of the time and this *may* break your ScummVM saved games.Serious Callers Only wrote:If i already applied the NRS patches will i be forced to reinstall?

I guess some developer is doing something with the scrolling recently. It's a bit jerky in the latest builds. Changed it slightly with r52299 again. we had some issues on some devices, where scrolling was way too slow and issues on other devices, where scrolling was way too fast. It's now syncing i...

There are a bunch of patches for SCI games but as i understand it the devs will workaround glitches and bugs themself, so in the final revision of SCI support those patches won't be necessary... Well there may be *some* official patches, which will still be required like for example a version of Co...

One of the Space Quest collections contains space quest 6 and its demo.

Could somebody clarify something about the PQ2 demo? Originally I understood the demo was broke somehow as in it's broke and was never fixed for some reason. But from some of the recent posts I'm understanding that every version of the demo that the team have are broke but that there might (or defi...

The old version of KQ4 is AGI - not SCI, unless there are two SCI versions (and the original AGI)? I actually own the AGI version of it (retail release), which is supposedly quite rare. I'm am not aware however of two different SCI releases. King's Quest IV was released on two different versions of...
