Yep, this is why the proper (market) build of ScummVM breaks all the engines out into separate packages, so you only have to install the game engine(s) you need - typically only a few MB on internal flash. Ah I think I found it myself in the ScummVM folder on the SD card. (SKY-VM.001, SKY-VM.SAV etc)

So it looks like even if the app itself gets uninstalled the saves will remain and be accessible should I reinstall again. Is that right?

Anyone know where saves are stored for Beneath a Steel Sky?

Hi

Playing BASS on HTC Desire but found I can't even send a text message now because it takes up too much room!

I want to uninstall for the moment but keep my saves - does anyone know what directory they are kept in on the phone? I have Astro File Manager but cannot find them.

Thanks Anotherguest! So it turned out the problem was as you suggested - not enough internal memory on the phone. Just did a bit of digging around and found out that apps can't be installed on the SD card - that's crazy! Apparently FroYo will sort this out but who knows when I'll be getting that lit...
