Why wouldn't that be a clean solution? It simply runs the program on ios58 which is an official ios. The wii and harddisk compatibility are a complex matter. You have the older ios with an usb 1.1 interface. IOS58 with the official nintendo usb 2.0 interface (the preferred method for homebrew) and 2...

It was not meant to argue about your choice of words, but, a bug is some mistake in the sources that needs to be solved in those sources as well. In this case, it's useless to dig into the sources for a solution as the feature is very likely just disabled. I wanted to avoid people posting it as a bu...

I remember I had such issues as well. If I launched the program from within Wiixplorer, it recognised the usb disk fine. If I placed an IOS Reload(58) at the start of the program, it worked fine from the hbc as well. The problem is related to the fact that the program tries to ininialise the harddis...

I used the term on the games to express the fact that there doesn't exist a company anymore that might know how the game engine works. Maybe it was a wrong word choice. English is not my native language, sorry about that. Every game disc comes with an additional try out of some of the other games fr...

7th level Monty Python and other games
I know, asking if this will be supported doesn't belong here. That's not my question. A little reseach teached me that Panasonic Interactive Media bought the rights on those game names when 7th level stopped it's activity. They sold the development tools to a firm called Ion Storm Inc. together with...

I uploaded my scummvm dol and a forwarder for it. The forwarder can be launched from the HBC, usbloader-gx.. The program has my humogonous patches so you can play The Freddi Fish, Putt Putt and Pajama Sam games without disapearing cursor. I put the virtual keyboard back in. http://www.badongo.com/fi...

I had the same issues. The new HBC 1.0.8 uses ios 58. Somehow, if the scummvm dol is launched from usb, the program itself has problems to access the drive itself. Due to that reason, it can't load the modern theme from disc. If you browse for games, you are unable to switch to the usb drive for it....

old build complains
Thanks Mr_Nick666. I had the impression the older version was removed because it used the older Scummvm logo with the small s. As the homebrew channel wasn't launching the program as expected as well, the only reliable way I found was launching wiixplorer from the HBC and the scummvm boot.dol from w...

Scummvm themes for the wii
The title pretty much says it all... I am trying to find a nice theme for my scummvm on the wii. They all seem to be made for the older versions of scummvm. Could someone provide me a link to a nice theme with a crt television compatible big font? Don't tell me "google for it". I tried, an...

I did some further checking: Launching Wiixplorer using IOS 58 works fine Forwarder using IOS 36 does mount USB drive on second attempt. HBC 1.0.8 using IOS58 refuses to mount the USB drive. Bootmii using IOS36 does mount USB drive on second attempt. Doesn't fill in the program argument list. Nforwa...

It might be a stupid question, but how do I know which version of the forwarder I am using? I just checkd with the HBC, and it seems to load the program faster as well. The program is just having problems to access it's boot disk when I launch it like that. Besides that, I don't like my daughter to ...

Thanks for the suggestion. My HBC 108 says that it is running on IOS58 V24.31. So, I assume that the IOS is installed. I also notice that the forwarder takes a long time to load the scummvm boot.dol, while wiixplorer launches it very fast. Maybe wiixplorer is caching the disc, but I doubt it. I almo...

I am having a strange issue when I am using the forwarder (still the one with the little s). If I launch the scummvm boot.dol from sd:/apps/scummvm, everything works fine. If I launch it from the usb1:/apps/scummvm, The program fails to mount the usb harddisk. Due to that, it can't find scummvm.ini,...
