Is there a way to convert it or a tip to get the game running on windows 7 without scummvm?

ID is dw2-gb; save game file is sg.1 renamed it to dw2-gb.001

I have a discworld II save from years ago, I renamed it to dw2-gb and the proper file extension to match scummvm saving system, scummvm recognizes the file in the load menu but when I launch the game it won't resume from the spot. It's definitely too quick I used the walkthrough and did everything right away and there is still not enough time to get it done.

It's definitely in English I played it beforehand. Scummvm is somehow just playing the Italian version.

How do I change Discworld 2 so that the text is in english not Italian? Also does anyone have a scummvm save file for the game for the beginning of the 2nd disc???
