Eye of the Beholder Sega CD Sound

When I heard that ScummVM supported the Eye of the Beholder Sega CD version, I immediately tried this out. I got the game up and running just fine, but I was unable to get any sound/music going. What is the proper file format for having the CD tracks played in ScummVM? Thanks in advance.

The flyby ship sound from SQ4 is used for the Alluminum Mallard as it swoops down to land on a planet. Though, I can't remember now if it was a digital sound or just an MT-32 sound...at any rate "Where am I?" is the only digital sound effect unique to the digital sound driver. All the oth...

Digitized Samples in SQ3

Wow, after trying SQ3 with the nightly build, I was surprised to hear the 'Where am I' sample in the Intro. After googling this, I found out some history on the sample such as how it only appeared on the Amiga version, and then a patched was introduced to unlock it on the PC version. Does anyone hav...

Very happy to see the opengl backend resurrected. I think this is a feature that will be appreciated by alot of people, especially in this day and age of lcd monitors that need native res to look sharp. Thank you! Wanted to bump this thread. I'm running a nightly build of ScummVM 1.3.1(GIT 10/6). I...

Noticed that the development discussion of MUNT reloaded on the VOGONS forum has slowed a bit. From what I can see, there's just a few loose ends to tie up, but the product seems almost fully capable to emulate most the Roland almost perfectly. Was just wondering if this would be a good time to add ...

Frankly, the native guy font end works great IMO. However, if you want a customizable front end, look no farther than Hyperspin. You can add movie previews, poster artwork, everything.

I just wanted to say that it's possible to enjoy the latest Munt in ScummVM already, using the mt32emu application (available here: https://github.com/sergm/munt_devel/downloads) and MIDI Yoke. I have XP and it works great! This is a great way to enjoy the latest Munt development with ScummVM. Howe...

MUNT updated

Was just doing my routine lurking in the VOGONS forums regarding MUNT and downloaded ykhwong's DosBox build. All I can say is, wow. Unbelievable. Now, my Roland MT-32 is nothing more than a nice mantle piece on my desk. The emulation is completely spot on. And the reverb finally sounds correct. I re...

But it is also true that there are games before Monkey Island 2 that are superior on the PC than on the Amiga. Beginning with Indy 3, Lucas Arts started to redo their games with 256-color VGA-graphics. Switching over to Sierra, all AGI games sound and look better on the Amiga. While the graphics ar...

Gamepad support in ScummVM?

I did a search on this forum to make sure this wasn't already asked. If it was, I apologize. I've really enjoyed playing ScummVM on so many platforms with different interface controllers. However, I always find myself going back to the PC version for some reason. Has there ever been a consideration ...

Can someone post a list of Amiga ported games that are superior to its DOS counterpart? Would love to know what I've been missing out on (and how many more games I have to re-play to get the full experience!).

Still taking into account that the API practically did not change, it would be not much work to plug in new code into the place. I hope the inclusion of the updated MUNT code will be seamless for you developers. It's wonderful that you folks would even consider this MT-32 upgrade -- now I really ca...
