Just for information: The DDS tapes didn't contain the Simon 2 files of English version, it was from the German, so if I could have used it I wouldn't need DAT 4 now. DDS is completely different format than DAT. For DDS restoring you need the exact software that wrote it (a retired member told me th...

Yes, of course. Thanks to remeber my project. Unfortunately, I just have got the German Simon 2 DATs and one of them was missing. Need to ask the studio for the others. I could maybe also help lending a DAT player. The advantage of using my one would be that it is directly reading the bits and bytes...

Camstudio was the name of my suggested program (just to be sure you didn't confuse it). Well, it's not really the program, it's rather the used codec. To join the films together you can use VirtualDub or VirtualDobMod. But be WARNED: Such AVI things need a LOT of space on your disk...

How to convert Broken Sword videos by my own?
Since I've got the original German game and the compressed quality of the videos offered on your page is not good enough for me I'd like to convert by my own. But I have no idea on what compression you used. Could anybody please tell me how I can do this?

How does target_md5 work?
I have got a modified version of Zak McKraken FM Towns and Indy 3, but I've got trouble with setting the correct md5 at the right place. I wrote the md5 ScummVM suggested just at the last line of the game settings in scummvm.ini, but somehow it still doesn't work. Does it have something to do with &...
