Well, if anyone's wondering (hello) I got a response from Andrew Korson. I have a feeling this will turn out rather educational for the both of us. (What can say, have me test your software! :D) If you want to find the thread... it probably won't be very hard. It's one of the only active threads on ...

Thanks. As you probably guessed already, I specifically wanted to post there in the hopes of getting an answer from WinAGI's author, who I only recently discovered returned to the community.

WinAGI compatibility

Well, I had created an account on a certain other forum to ask this, but apparently you have to be manually approved before you can log in, so I guess I'll see if anyone here knows first, and if not then oh well who cares. So, I've gotten WinAGI to work on an old Windows XP computer, works alright, ...

Scummvm forum emails violate some Google email guideline

Found this in my spam folder. https://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/002/306/235/original/d574304d2bfb7939.png Learn more links to this https://support.google.com/mail/answer/81126?hl=en-GB#authentication I guess they don't like something about the security used. Could make the forum ...

Curiosity got the better of me, and I tried the Wine on Puppy. Runs fine! (There was no sound, seems broken on the computer I used, eh, I'd have probably heard sound if it was working.) So something stupid about my distro's config must be making the game crash. Just great! Updated: So, I have now is...

Well, the Wine in Ubuntu is a much older version, so I thought to try a newer version... okay, looks like it's only available as a source package, well, I'll compile it then! Ok, looks like I have to install... I dunno, feels like every dev package ever written... hours pass compiling... ok, finally...

Hulabee games (Like Ollo & Moop) on Wine? (PEBKAC)

Does anyone out there have experience running Hulabee games (In particular their adventures Ollo in the Sunny Valley Fair or Moop & Dreadly) on Wine? When I try they just crash with some generic error, I forget which but I could check if anyone wants. If anyone is interested, demos are available...

Here's a demo of Daniel in the Lions' Den.

(For those who've never heard of it, it's from the short-lived Little Ark line, a bible-themed spinoff from Living Books.)

(I've tried editing the post like 3 ways to get the link to display right, I guess it's not happening.)

Well, maybe I wasn't too clear, but I wonder if anything changed at all, or if it's vanilla Scummvm! Not knowing a thing about how things work in ios-land though, I'll not pass judgement there. I know a bit about the Wii versions, those changed a bit. Perhaps most obviously, they added a rumble feat...

I'm not even sure how much they bothered to change at all... I've heard it's at least possible to bring up Scummvm's F5 menu, and that implies it might possible to return to the launcher... and then run whatever game you want! I know the cursor is still drawn in the game. (Like Scummvm on Android, f...

*Didn't* those ports face problems with the GPL though? Not sure what came of that.

The bad news is, this is in violation of either or both the GPL and the iOS App Store policy :-/
Didn't this already happen with ports of Flight of the Amazon Queen or Simon the Sorcerer too?
