Double standards.

Lets get overboard. I'm not talking about the latest Bioshock, but an old DOS based game that isn't sold anymore.

Make a PERSONAL backup copy of one of your movies on DVD, oh, wait, you can't, you need specialized software to circumvent the copy protection.

Get a life.

As I said, the PRINCIPLE applies.

Shivers REQUIRES the original CD to PLAY and there is NO WAY TO PLAY IT without making a copy of the disc, which is forbidden by Sierra.

Shivers requires the original CD to run, as MOST of the point and click adventures.

Copying the disc is illegal. Principle of "private copy levy" applies.

I'm sorry, I'll head out to my time machine and go back to when Windows 3.11 and Shivers (DOS game) was released so I can buy it. Sorry for trying to assist someone on the forum. Question: How do I load ScummVM games o...

Shivers ran on Windows 3.11, which I have a .VHD (Virtual PC Hard-drive Image) with Shivers, Shivers 2 and Lighthouse installed. All the video, sound and mouse drivers are already installed. Works per...
