For us adventure gamers I don't think the takeover means we will see any new Lucasarts-style adventures (though it is my wetest dream), but what could they possibly do to hurt their franchises more than they allready have been?

A really good adventure game. Beautiful handdrawn graphics, good puzzles and great voice acting (though I personally find the voice of Tony himself to be somehwat annoying, but then again, I think he is SUPPOSED to be annoying). A must play for fans of Lucas Arts-style adventures.

Actually, in my case I think that it was not torrents, but downloads through mozilla firefox. Or a combination.. Anyways, what worked for me was to make sure not to have anything downloading while playing.

I've had the same thing happening. After a while I realized that every time it happened, I had downloads of various sorts running. My theory is that this somehow interferes with scumm, because it never happens if I make sure not to have any downloads running. Hope this might help you.

I'm 31. The first adventure game (aside from text-adventures) I played was the first Kings Quest, back in 88 I believe it was, on a cga 4-color monitor. Ahhh those were the days!
