Re: Hook
I'm trying to play this game in the DOS version. If anyone knows: please, tell me how to actually start the game! I run the game, the intro starts, then the credits... and then it's back to the intro! I can't start proper gameplay! I just don't know what key to press - enter and space don't work, es...

Re: Discworld 2 on SCUMMVM (Vista)
I'm having a very similar problem: ScummVM says that it can't find any game in the folder. It's directly from the web, not from a CD. My system is Windows 7 64 bit. Any advice? It also doesn't work through DOSBox and since D-Fend Reloaded doesn't protest, doesn't say that these aren't DOS execs, I s...

Re: The Big Red Adventure
Yes, but what about DOS saves? If someone here has played it in DOS... It seems that, altogether, there are less bugs in DOS, but the scales bug seems impossible to bypass and - unlike in ScummVM - the option to start from act 2, 3 or 4 doesn't appear in the menu, so there's no possibility to skip t...

Re: The Big Red Adventure
And does anyone perhaps have saves for the game? I tried running it both in DOSBox and in ScummVM. In DOSBox the game crashes at the scales in 1st act, but saves from, for example, late 2nd act would be welcome. In ScummVM I can't talk to Alex and Kos in 3rd act (they don't appear as an active objec...

Re: Pink Panther (passport to...)
Saying that, I can't see traces of that game title online when I use google. I can see a game with a similar title called "Różowa Pantera Po Skarb Się Wybiera" which isn't either of the games ScummVM supports and I think is called "Pink Panther Pinkadelic Pursuit" in English. Ar...

Re: The Big Red Adventure
I'm playing the game in a ScummVM daily build (the one which was the most recent a few days ago). Are you perhaps interested in some feedback on how does the game work?

Re: Pink Panther (passport to...)
I'd greatly prefer to play it in Scumm VM. I don't really remember what issue I had, but most likely - my dislike for fullscreen. And in Scumm VM everything can be played in a window. Will the Polish version be supported as well? I think that's what I have: "Różowa Pantera w świat się wybiera&q...

Re: The Big Red Adventure
I have problems with the same game. The game crashes/blocks: a) during intro, b) during the game itself - more precisely, when the guide asks museum visitors to move into the next room. Any advice on what to do about it?

Re: MagicTales
OK, I'm running it in Scumm VM only after all. I played "Baba Yaga" without problems, however, now I'm having issues with bugs in "Liam Finds a Story". 1. The game gets stuck during the first page of the story itself, on the last word. Both in "Story" and "Play&quo...

Re: MagicTales
Could you please tell me how to set it up? I prefer playing games through Scumm VM + D-Fend Reloaded because then I can keep screenshots in DFR (and please don't tell me that you don't know anything about DFR; DFR people don't know anything about Scumm VM, so they won't help me either). In DFR, to c...

Trying "Quest for Glory" (part 3) on Scumm VM
Parts 3 and 4 of "Quest for Glory" are very buggy. Some people who have played it on DOSBox may recognize a few bugs: not being able to "formally" offer help to Harami, Laibon getting annoyed without reason and saying "So, friend of Rakeesh, what have you come here for?"...

Discworld - supported, but not on the list?
I read that both parts of "Discworld" are supported by Scumm VM. However, I can't find them on the list when I try to setup a profile (Scumm VM v. 2.0 + D-Fend Reloaded). Are the entries for both games under some unobvious title - for example, company name or engine name (as in case of ent...

Pajama Sam 1 - no game saving at all?
The problem is that unlike in Pajama Sam 2 and 3, where you can choose gameplay variants, assignment of lost objects to locations in Pajama Sam 1 is entirely random. So, in order to have some level of control over which variant I get, I wanted to create saves at the very start of the game and name t...
