Re: Is there an option to disable in-game achievements in ScummVM 2.8.1?
I didn't know such old games even support achievements. Is there a list of all ScummVM games which have achievements?
I Am Not The Expert On This ... but not in a clear form I know of. This is mainly for GOG / Steam Achievement s...

Re: Question about Minor Issue in Original LSL1 Age Quiz

The bug indicated is https://bugs.scummvm.org/ticket/15138 The correct answer or rather answer that works is noted on Al Lowe's site here and is as the user reports i.e. (b): https://allowe.com/games/larry/tips-manuals/lsl1-age-quiz.html However, this question is even more problematic as the US TV d...

Re: Installation/Crashing for Backyard Baseball 1997

Try copying the required datafiles from the original media to confirm that you don't have a corrupted copy: https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php?title=Backyard_Baseball You can also try with a nightly build and see if the problem is present in the latest development master: https://buildbot.scummvm.or...

Re: Do NOT work Star Trek: 25th Anniversary and Star Trek: Judgment Rites

invwar: You would start by knowing basic C/C++ or learning, then https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php?titl ... er_Central is the starting point, then talk to the last developer who has worked on this and look at the existing code to work out what is missing...

Re: Orange Pillarboxing in 2.7.0.2 on ChromeOS Android 11

@Elleby: Can you link a freeware AGS game or freely distributable demo which exhibits the issue? Can you also provide details of your platform and try with a nightly build of v2.9.0 if possible to see if the issue has been fixed since v2.8.0 release...

Re: Orange Pillarboxing in 2.7.0.2 on ChromeOS Android 11

@GentleBen, @Elleby: Can you try the following workaround? Uncheck the options for "Use RGB rendering" and "Use per-resource modified palettes". That should remove the orange... @lephilousophe has a theory on the cause of this i.e. ---- The problem is that our OpenGL backbuffer i...

Re: Problem unpacking syberia games

Wronschein: The Windows versions used a completely different engine, hence why only the Mac versions are supported. However, there was an enhancement discussion on hiding hotspots and generally trying to make the UI less invasive, but don't get hopes up as it is based on someone getting interested a...

Re: Which games would you like to be supported on the future?

Not really. The work to finish this is quite extensive. I only did some work to patch the codebase to keep it compilable and allow someone who is interested to pick this up. If Rafal decides to work on this again, he is free to, but that statement is just a polite note, not a statement of intent.

Re: libssh.so.4 not found

Lutris uses Flatpak i.e. container system so that each application runs with it's own set of libraries. This appears to be a known issue with the latest ScummVM flatpak build: https://github.com/flathub/net.lutris.Lutris/issues/360 I am not sure if https://flathub.org/apps/org.scummvm.ScummVM needs ...

Re: Lands of Lore - laginess/slowdown in 2.7.1

Does this occur if you start from a clean New Game with no savegames present? If so, then please file a bug at bugs.scummvm.org including where you got the game from (GOG?) and Operating System etc.
