@ Shrapnelwolf: What language is it? Have you compressed the game files (using the scummvm tools)?
I had such an error in an earlier version of ScummVM, are you sure you're using the latest build?

DVD's with greater capacity? Do you mean like double sided R/RW discs or the next generation blue laser discs? The Files to keep section is just a hint to save some diskspace. ScummVM doesn't need all files of a game, so you can delete the rest. You don't have to.
