Question about Sierra AGI engine support level
I noticed that the support level for all Sierra AGI games is at Good. What is still missing or not working correctly with these games that is preventing them from getting a support level of Excellent?

I have several external MIDI devices so I'll do some extensive testing on this and post my results on the bug report. There is an open bug report about this. The MPU-401 driver does seem to be sending some reset-looking messages when it is destroyed, and not everyone experiences this problem, so I c...

Regardless of the engine being used, ScummVM should always send a reset command to the MIDI device on exit.

Re: Quest for Glory IV Playable State
It gives a warning when you launch it and it is listed as Broken on the compatibility list so I'm guessing it is not quite ready in ScummVM 2.0.0.

ScummVM 2.0.0 - Hanging notes with real MIDI synth
When using ScummVM 2.0.0 with a real MIDI tone generator (Yamaha MU-80), I get hanging notes when exiting ScummVM while playing Sierra SCI games. I haven't tried any other games yet.
Shouldn't ScummVM be sending a reset command to MIDI devices on exit to prevent this type of thing from happening?

Turns out one of the ROM files was corrupt. Have no idea why the previous version of ScummVM wasn't picking up on the incorrect checksum though. Odd. Are your ROM files named as follows and have the same MD5sums? abe0982e4f662f881affa7d8a932c739 MT32_CONTROL.ROM 89e42e386e82e0cacb4a2704a03706ca MT32...

ScummVM 2.0.0 - Error: Adding PCM ROM failed
When using ScummVM 2.0.0 with the MT-32 Emulator, I get the following error message: "Error: Adding PCM ROM failed. Check that your PCM ROM is valid." Everything works fine if I go back to the previous version of ScummVM. I am using the exact same folder structure and layout and configurat...

AGI in higher resolutions
Since Sierra's AGI interpreter renders backgrounds using vector graphics, I'm curious as to why nobody has written an interpreter that renders these games at higher resolutions.
Is there a technical reason why this is not possible?

Ideas for ScummVM file identification website
I understand why ScummVM does not do complete checksum matching and why they do not condone using applications like clrmamepro for cataloging files, but after going through all my old floppy disks I realize there is a need for a tool to at least tell you if you have all the files needed to get a gam...
