I recently took another look at this. Turns out the INI settings were unrelated and the code to start the sequence was removed, but it's not too hard to tweak the scripts to get it working the way it was probably supposed to. Here's what it looks like in action. If anyone's curious, there's a good c...

Hidden "credits" in Putt-Putt's Dog on a Stick
While looking through the graphics of Putt-Putt and Pep's Dog on a Stick with a utility I recently released, I found some images for what seems to be a set of joke or placeholder credits. (Apparently embedding images flags my post as spam, so see http://imgur.com/a/IxyC0 for some pictures.) After a ...

Humongous Entertainment resource ripper
Download here (C++ source included) This is a command-line utility I wrote that extracts most graphics and audio from SCUMM-based Humongous Entertainment games. It supplants my previous rippers to the extent that I figured it's worth starting a new topic. See the readme for a list of supported game...

I appreciate the advice, though -- I'll keep it in mind ...

If anyone cares, I've rewritten this program from scratch. It now runs much faster and supports HE1 and HE2 files in addition to HE4 and DMU. Download it here.
I must say, I didn't realize quite how bad the original version was until I looked at the code again after all these months...

Humongous Entertainment music ripper
A while back, an acquaintance of mine asked about resource ripping programs for HE games on these forums. Since there didn't seem to be any, I wrote my own little utility for extracting the music from HE4 and DMU files. I don't know how much interest there is in this, but maybe it'll be useful to so...
