Why doesn't kyrandia 2 and 3 supported? and how can I play them?

Can't get any of them to run, not even on the PC's scumm.
I'm using all the files from the CD in their respected folders. I copied the CD to a folder, and I specify for the scumm to look there, but he just can't find the game.

I can't even get it to play on my computer.
I'm now using 0.9.0 and downloaded the kyra.dat file which I've copied to the main directory and... nothing.

Does copying the required files mean that they all should be in the same directory?
