Re: Shaders outside of the built-in ones not working?
Are there any plans to convert the slang shaders to work on Metal like OpenEmu does with their shaders?

Re: Shaders outside of the built-in ones not working?
Hi. I recently upgraded to an M2 Pro Mac and I get this when trying to register the CRT-Royal-Fake bloom shader: [2024-05-23 17:10:22] WARNING: Shader::createDirectShader(): Could not compile shader crt/shaders/crt-royale/src/crt-royale-first-pass-linearize-crt-gamma-bob-fields.glsl.vertex: ERROR: 0...

Myst 3: Exile and shaders not working.
I'm running Myst 3: Exile on linux through Steam with Luxtorpeda with ScummVM git. I just finished Riven and it ran great with OpenGL, pixel perfect scaling and normal scaler 1x. I noticed that when I increasd the scaler to 2x or 3x, the CRT-Aperture shader would de disabled. Now I'm using the same ...

Re: How to edit Shaders
Thank you for the advice about the DAT file. Now, according to the CRT-Royale readme, the shader is either edited by changing the runtime parameters within retroarch menus (which is impossible here) or via the user-settings.h file, which is missing for GLSL shaders converted from CG because it has b...

How to edit Shaders
How do I open shaders.dat?
How do I save whatever shader I modify back into shaders.dat?
I'm on macOS, btw.
Thanks.

Re: Favourite shader?
On my 2012 MacMini, CRT-Royale fails to load but CRT-Lottes works. I have to use the fast version because the normal is too demanding on my iGPU. Game: Indy4 Graphics Mode: OpenGL Render Mode: default Stretch mode: Pixel-perfect Scaler: Normal/1x Aspect ratio correction: on Filter Graphics: off Shad...

Re: Getting MIDI hardware recognized in Linux
That depends on how the libraries are linked or built. I just tried the buildbot build and it is lacking the libjpeg library.

Getting MIDI hardware recognized in Linux
Hi! I'm having issues with the Linux build. The music driver options don't display ALSA as an option anymore and if I edit the config file to "force" it, the program states: "The selected audio device 'alsa' was not found (e.g. might be turned off or disconnected). Attempting to fall ...

CoreMIDI label wrong, bug or feature?
In the latest mac build 2.1.0git4-g2ca0235 the audio tab now lists two MT-32 options, MT32 Emulator and MT-32 [CoreMIDI] and no option for CoreMIDI.

Best version according to what criteria? Loom VGA has more colors but the art is crude compared to the EGA version and there are scenes missing. Future Wars Amiga has a better soundtrack compared to the PC MT-32 version. Maniac Mansion Amiga has OCS graphics (320x200/256 32 colors/4096 max) with a v...

COMI wont work in 0.9 OS X Universal build
Works for me on a PowerBook G4. I run it off a disk image residing on my iPod Video, that I mount thru USB. Look at the message in Console.
