reducing the size of my collection (Sierra, Lucasfilm Games)
Hi everyone, I hope it's ok to post a game sale here, at least I found a few similar older threads. I've decided to strongly reduce my collection and get rid of all the double and triple copies once and for all. The items most interesting in this forum are probably the following ones, but my collect...

Thanks! Just to be clear: the game I posted about is no booter, I merely mentioned that other version for reference. As you can see from the file list, I can access the files; and the (unknown) hash code is what I get running it with SCUMMVM. Apart from formally adding it to the game list, I am inte...

The sticker on my copy says 'IBM PC, PCjr, and compatibles'; it has the number SRL-652. The floppy disk stickers have the numbers KQL-101 and KQL-102. The 'logo' stickers of the disks in the later (slipcover) gold box have KQL-103 and KQL-104 and contain version 2.0F. So I would presume this is an e...

Unknown Version of King's Quest I
Trying to play my grey-box copy of KQ1 with the daily build from Nov 26, 2011, the game is not recognized and I get prompted to report the following. {"logdir", 0, "f3464778c9ae1a9e1fbed566f917b3d7", 315}, {"vol.0", 0, "6fdab17b9c25ea2d50021091eaaa3767", 46735...

Thank you both for your detailed answers. I did obviously miss the fact that the main compatibility page list is for the daily build (although this is the first time in, say, 5 years that this has made any difference). I am also somewhat 'relieved' that my cruise problem is not related to my hardwar...

Cruise for a Corpse, real MT-32 not working
Using the August 4 daily build, I got the 256 color UK version of Cruise running. I used Windows MIDI, set my USB MIDI adapter as primary device and attached my MT-32. This setup works perfectly e.g. for Monkey2. However, for Cruise, the MT-32 was not used. I don't have a clue what SCUMMVM actually ...

I hope that the bugs are restricted to the Gameboy Advance, but I am still facing a similar problem (I can ring the bell and the door opens - it just doesn't do anything). I just found out another interesting thing: After having petted the cat so that it jumps up on the shelf, you can do the same th...

Broken Sword: Cat bug in Syria (and possibly some others)
After spending quite some time trying to figure out what to do next in Syria, I looked up some hints and found out that the cat, when sitting on the shelf, is supposed to be startled when the shop door opens. Now I had already tried that several times, and it had not worked. I then found the followi...
