Re: TWIN engine (was poll)
Thanks both for you messages. Yeah, we are going to work on that goal, to make the game fully playable and than start improving it. We are using functional programming instead, but I don't believe that will be an issue. Yeah, klusark did work hard on the residual version, hope he still check this fo...

Re: TWIN engine (was poll)
Hey guys, Sorry to bump this old topic but it may be of interest of some of the members. Lupin and I from MBN community have been working on a new engine for LBA2, that can be played directly in a web browser: http://lba2remake.xesf.net/ It's just a work in progress at this point, far from being ful...

Wow, 6 years since we start the project that I completely forgot about this thread. In past month I start to work a little bit on the engine. It's not much time invested, but the main focus was to get the game more playable with less crashes and I guess it's achieved. At this point, even without inv...

Hey guys, I was to start working on this project again few weeks ago, but had to stop due to a personal project I've started. Here's a resume of it: Few weeks ago I just send a CV for a opportunity in the game industry (actually in Spain). Unfortunately, my profile didn't met what they wanted and in...

Thanks for the support Graxer, its very useful at this stage of the project. The MP3/OGG feature is already implemented. Since I did this package very fast (due to few free time the last days) I didn't include the proper libraries for ogg and mp3 use. Anyway, for now, only CD Tracks and midi can be ...

Prequengine reach playable status
Prequengine reach now the playable status.
There's still a lot things to implement from original game but the game should be playable till the end.
I released a windows version for now, hoping to get some feedback from beta testers.
I'll continue working in the engine and fixing the known bugs.

For now, Prequengine is getting a different way from TwinEngine. In the past weeks I improve a lot Prequengine code, fixing some old bugs and add some new features to start make the game playable. Also did a lot of refactoring this days specially for a future port to ResidualVM. Still, there is a lo...

Hey guys, No post for so long. I'm returning to this project slowly now. Things are getting slow but nicely. We've made some nice fixes the past days. I think as soon as we start get some interaction with characters we can boost things a little, but we don't need to rush. Thanks for keep the interes...

Thanks for the compliments, and I can understand why this game touch you ;) The past commits don't give new features but improved the previous ones like original implementation. This is the focus now, and my next task is to build the first steps to display characters like original engine since now w...

Hey guys, Just got a few days my CycloDS Evolution, so I decide to test ScummVM on it as you asked. My firmware is the last one, 1.54, although ScummVM console prints out a DLDI device message with version 1.3 which I don't know if is the last one. I test only two games from Build A, The Secret of M...
