I don't know about anyone else, but the main thing I'm hoping to see in the next big release of the DS version is SCI support. Now that it's officially in the main ScummVM release, is there any hope of seeing it on the DS version? Maybe we could at least support for the SCI 1.0 and 1.5 games (such a...

Oh yeah
One detail I just realized I forgot to mention that might help pin the problem down: the sound does NOT speed up. Only the graphics.
Also, having the RAM pack in or out doesn't make a difference to the behavior.

AGI switching works!
However, and this is a very odd "however," after I do it a couple times, the AGI engine starts running significantly faster than it did, somewhere around 25-50% faster. The "normal" walking speed of the characters is somewhere around where "fast" would be normally. And ...

@Another World Eh, if you're on the Akaio team, I'll take your word that it's a software issue unrelated to ScummVM. And I'm content enough with current behavior that I probably won't mess around with it if it's stuff that's fixed in 1.5. I wouldn't have brought it up at all except for it being a bu...

@another world - sorry I got snippy. I just did a full reformat of my SD card, and I'm getting the exact same behavior. Far more AGI games lock up upon quitting to the menu and relaunching than not. Do you think we're looking at some tiny difference between different versions of the AK2 hardware? It...

Re: Good so far...
i tested a few hundred agi games (retail and fan made) and only had 1 or 2 freeze when trying to go back to the launcher. the problem is game specific and not a scummvmds issue. i'm also running the same set up as you with akaio 1.4.1 proper on one card and akaio 1.5 beta on the other. -another wor...

Good so far...
Just messing around a bit, I tried out Sam & Max CD, DOTT CD, Monkey Island 1, BASS CD, Lost in Time, Leisure Suit Larry 1, and Space Quest 1, and they all booted and ran fine for a couple minutes. MI1 loaded the game I had in progress with no problems. And I answered my own question: No Full Th...

Anything in particular you want tested?
I've got a bunch of Lucasarts and Sierra games on my SD card, so if there's anything in particular you need tested, I might be able to try it out.
Also: does this include Full Throttle / Dig support?

I don't have a way to simulate this keypress at the moment, but it would be easy to add for the next version. Could you please? This would also allow us to access the cheat to skip past the manual lookup in KQ4 AGI. (If anyone doesn't know about it, the code is to press Alt-D at the question screen...

Both 7th Guest and 11th Hour feature SVGA graphics, so how can they be run on DS????? It's not possible... I could be wrong, but from deep recess of my brain not accessed since 1993, a little voice is telling me that 7th Guest had a 320x240 VGA mode. And I know the DS has more RAM than the 386es at...

@agentq All of the defaults were left alone with version B. I had it happen twice, both in rooms early on in the game. If I recall, one was on the ledge just to the right of where you begin, and the other was in the room below it, in the room with the droid and the elevator. Like I said, it only loc...

Using a TTDS here, no RAM pack. The option to return to the main menu works in Build D, but locks up Build A. Also found a weird crash on Beneath a Steel Sky (floppy). If I try to save a game, and I'm typing on the console, and then hit the virtual ENTER, the game locks up. But if I type the game na...
