Re: Just throwing a suggestion out there - integrated hint book system?
Creating a store and especially handling the customer data is quite a work and because of the limitation in growth not worth to implement. The only thing I can imagine is that GOG better support the ScummVM integrations. As they have no interest in supporting another storefront, direct integration ...

Re: Just throwing a suggestion out there - integrated hint book system?
This is not only possible, but currently happening! It's actually why I'm on here (won't ask my issue here though). When I installed Big Thinkers Kindergarten, Steam automatically installed ScummVM, and plays the game through that (along with a handful of other kid's games I have from the 90s, boug...

Re: Just throwing a suggestion out there - integrated hint book system?
(It's not likely that the ScummVM project can distribute existing walkthroughs for games. Whoever wrote walkthroughs you may find online owns the text. So they'd probably need to be written from scratch for ScummVM by volunteers.) I was thinking more the UHS type of hints than actual walkthroughs. ...

Just throwing a suggestion out there - integrated hint book system?
I love ScummVM and the developments to this day, adding modern features such as Cloud Saving. I have been using it since pretty much day 1 and remember when the FreeSCI project was added for example. That project had been going on for quite some time but was obviously lacking developers with enough ...

Re: SCI support?
That's the point: As far as I can tell, the daily builds fetched at http://buildbot.scummvm.org/snapshots/1.0.0/wince-1.0.0-latest.tar.bz2 no longer recognize SCI games. From what I've heard the SCI engine is not mature enough to be enabled in 1.0.0, so that's intentional. (The same is true about a...

Re: SCI support?
In recent builds it seems that SCI support is broken? ScummVM does not detect any SCI games. Also, in the last build I have that DID support SCI, ScummVM crashes if you try to save your game which makes testing a bit annoying since you always have to start from scratch... SCI games are not supporte...

Keymapping?
Just bought an HTC TytnII and one of the first apps I installed was naturally ScummVM. :) It works like a dream but there are a few annoyances mainly concerning Sierra games. This device has a slide-out keyboard and the cursor keys only control the cursor. I would want them to control the character ...

Recommended device for ScummVM?
Hey all. Have been fooling around with ScummVM for Symbian on my Nokia 5320 Xpressmusic and is VERY impressed. However, the screen is kinda small and it would be awesome with touchscreen support and perhaps even a small keyboard. Yep, I'm looking into buying a PocketPC. I'm puzzled though... Which o...

Forgive me for stating the obvious, but cursor movement on my 5320 (old-school non-touchscreen) won't work in these latest builds (not the 090218 build). I guess it's obvious since I see that these bugs, that prevent touchscreen from working properly, are viciously being hunted down. ;) Just thought...
