Re: DLDI patching for TwilightMenu++?

You would be much better asking Robz8 over at the gbatemp.net forums. He is the primary coder on TWiLightMenu.

Re: Everything about ScummVM DS. READ BEFORE POSTING.

Might make sense to add a reference to 3DS port as well since it is now mature and works incredibly well and is a far superior solution for the 3DS population.

Re: Which games run on the 3DS with the limited resolution?

All Scumm games work well. All Tinsel games and SCI games work really well too. I assume most other 2D games also work well. For higher resolution games like “I have no mouth” you have two options. Re: ScummVM on 3DS

Yes. This option was added to nightly builds back in March. You need to go into per game settings from the main GUI screen. It works great!

Re: Help: DSP dump

You should be able to dump DSP pretty easily. Did you follow the CFW guide at https://3ds.hacks.guide/?

One time setup guide that walks you through installing CFW and dumping DSP.

Re: ScummVM on Nintendo 3DS XL with DSTWO

Your best option would be to install custom firmware on your 3DS. It only takes about twenty minutes and has zero risk if you carefully follow the guide at https://3ds.hacks.guide/. Do not follow a video. Just read the guide and go step by step. Once you install custom firmware you can install a nat...

Wow, if that scummvm.ini proposal is possible, that'd be a great addition to this port.

A number of classics are playable (and extremely enjoyable), although you'll run into some bugs here and there. For instance, the first two or three sections of Space Quest III appear to be completely error free (I can even hear sound effects now that I don't remember playing through the speaker on ...

SCI performance already seems vastly improved over just a few weeks ago. I swear I'm hearing new sound effects in Space Quest III, but I could be imagining things!

It appears that backspace is broken on this version of ScummVM. I posted a bug about it in the tracker. Anyone else experiencing this behavior?

Boxer's a nifty application that makes dosbox relatively seemless. It'll never outperform ScummVM, but for those games you can't live without, it's a life-saver :)

James,

Your enhancement is fantastic. I'd like to point out that I had to rename all of the files to get it to work. 01.ogg -> track01.ogg and so forth. Still, it's great! Thanks.
