Hi
Sorry for late reply
I solved my particular problem (eventually) by pasting in the ID files (CD1.ID and CD2.ID) into my folder and then retrying....
This seemed to do the trick

Broken sword 1: Ireland
Hi. Now I've got the game saving fine, I've reached Ireland - where I have to insert CD2 (or so it says). Now, I get a message claiming it can't open the Ireland.CLU file. I've definitely copied it over so I'm a little baffled. Any ideas?

No, haven't had that warning yet. So, ScummVM thinks that I'm running the game from the CD. Is this a bad thing? Could this explain the problem with F5? You may remember that I had to copy the CD.ID files over just to get the game to play, in spite of having copied over all the other stuff (.clu fil...

Thanks. Well...I just checked my system prefs and F5 isn't listed (control+F5 and Apple+F5 are there but not F5 on its own). So that doesn't seem to be the issue. I'm beginning to think there must be something else I had to copy over from the original CD...something not listed here. For example, I h...

Yes it's the mac version....I'm using an imac. I DO also have the pc version (dedicated fan, see). But surely that wouldn't work.... Anyway, I renamed all the .clm files to clu. and....it found it! But then it crashed (and crashed and crashed) as soon as I pressed start. Any ideas? I'm going crazy h...

Thanks Eriktorbjorn... Yes these files (except Mad Cow) were in the clusters folder that I copied over. Except they don't have a .clu suffix, they are called .clm (except for the speech file whic IS called .clu) Is it just a matter of renaming them? Also, when I copied over the 2nd CD, because the m...

Broken Sword1 on new iMac
Hi Just tried to run BS1 through new iMac after years of not being able to play... Followed tutorial in Revfans to the letter and seem to have all the necessary bits and pieces from the CDs in a folder in my Harddrive. But, of course, when I tried to "add game" on ScummVM, it couldn't find...
