Can't get the Grim Fandango demo to run on Snow Leopard.
Hi. Long time ScummVM user, first time ResidualVM user. ResidualVM starts just fine. I copied the necessary files (gfdemo01.lab, sound001.lab, voice 001.lab and the Movies folder) to a newly created directory and had no problem adding the game to ResidualVM. Once I launch the demo, I see the LucasAr...

I never heard they also offer the FM-Towns version via Steam, when you buy the DOS CD version. Click LINK CENSORED DUE TO VIALTING FORUM RULE #0 for the details. Well nobody gives you the right to download the FM-Towns version, just because you bought Loom on Steam. I had to censor that link, since...

OK. Thank you!Jonatan wrote:some of the required datafiles are hardcoded into the steam executable.
At least, by purchasing "Loom" for Steam, I also got a free download of the FM-Towns version of the game, which works in ScummVM just fine and both games (Loom and The Dig) work fine in Steam on my PC.

Loom and The Dig "Steam" versions.
I purchased "Loom" and "The Dig" on Steam but they won't run on my Mac (in CrossOver Games). For Loom, i located the files needed to play the game with ScummVM (DISK01.LEC and the .LFL files) and copied them in a new folder but when I try to add the game in ScummVM, I get the mes...

I have the cd version that has both Monkey Island 1 and Monkey Island 2 on it. Should I have a different cd version? Still wont even find the audio files, although they work perfectly fine in the game. I have that CD version as well, but have no problem finding the audio tracks. The music was not p...

New snapshot up, which works :). I'd appreciate if someone could give it a run with a couple of different tests just to confirm that it works properly though (Specifically, test MPEG2 support (Broken sword cutscenes), MP3 and OGG support (and FLAC for that matter), on 10.2.x and 10.3.x. First of al...

Does ScummVM 0.9.0 work in Mac OSx 10.2.8?
I previously asked for help in this forum and received quite a bit of it ( I'd like to thank Jimbob in particular ). However, I have thus far been unable to mount the latest version of ScummVM or to use an unzipped version from a zipped file that Jimbob was kind enough to e-mail me. All of this lead...

I know it's a bit of a hassle but have you tried Pacifist from here . It says in the description it can open dmg files, so you may be able to extract the ScummVM.app from the disk image even though you can't mount it. If you do try it, use the PPC build .... I'm not too sure if the Universal binary...

I'm no Mac user, but I know that for older MacOSX versions, you have tu use the specific PPC build, as the universal binary works only for (AFAIK) 10.3.9 or above. I had actually tried to mount the PPC build myself without success before I directed my efforts towards the universal binary. Thank you...

What size is the file that you've downloaded? Does it match with what's listed on the Sourceforge files list ( here )? It's 4.1 MB, which I think matches 4300556 bytes listed on SourceForge. I have actually tried downloading from various locations (from SourceForge), thinking that maybe one of the ...

ScummVM 0.9.0 impossible to mount on Mac OSX 10.2.8?
Hi. I have been using successfully ScummVM 0.8.2 on my Mac for the past few months. I downloaded 0.9.0 this morning but the disk image won't mount. I get an "error 95: failure to mount" message. I have tried mounting it with various applications (disk image, FlashMount and Mount), but to n...
