Is there an ideal Playback Adjustment for the Loom CD?
Does anyone who’s experimented with the CD version of Loom know of an ideal (or close to it) spot for the audio playback adjustment? The way the audio file is organised, however, indicates there will always be some degree of cutting off or track overlap.

Can “Malcolm’s Revenge” be made unbeatable?
For years, I’ve believed Kyrandia 3 was designed with failsafes like the second game in order to prevent it from becoming unbeatable. However, there are a few potential trouble spots during the ending night levels that I have yet to find solutions for: 1. In the Gunther-only route, where you have to...

Re: Problem with Kings Quest VI sounds
I've noticed a similar issue with King's Quest 7, which also uses MIDI. Most of the music is fine, but occasionally incorrect sounds will play. Perhaps it's a Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth error?

Oh, I see what you mean. Except that for me 1.9.0 was already behaving in the same way the current code does (stretching the image to the screen top and bottom border) while 1.8.0 indeed did have black borders on all sides. I suspect this is related to the SDL library version used (SDL 1.2 versus S...

I don't remember such changes having been made since the 1.9.0 release. Also I am still getting (with source code from today) black borders on the left and right on my screen when using 3x scaling in full screen. The image is still pillarboxed (there are still black bars on either side of the scree...

3x Scaling - No more border?
I am testing the latest daily build. All previous versions (1.9.0 and before), when set to 3x scaling, have had a black border around the screen to preserve the 960x720 resolution on my 1366x768 monitor. Now, the black border is gone, and the image stretches to the top and bottom of the screen, thou...

Crazy Nick's Software Picks: Parlor Games with Laura Bow
All the Nick's Picks seem to work fine except this one. I get many script errors when trying to perform certain functions. I couldn't even get the dominoes portion of the game open until I deleted the corresponding OPT file from the folder. Is this issue simply due to a lack of proper compatibility ...

The Dig - Jerky animations, choppy audio
First, my PC specs: Toshiba Satellite A505. Windows 7 Professional. Intel Core i3 CPU. M 330 @ 2.13Ghz. 4.00 GB RAM. 64 bit. I tried running "The Dig" last night on the current stable build and experienced some severe lags which resulted in choppy animations and audio. Occasional clicks an...
