I'm not sure if the user 'mc' is actually Zeldin, or not... According to the wiki, Zeldin is indeed Marcus Comstedt. If someone more familiar with the source code could point me in right direction, I'd be more than happy to add the info to the appropriate ScummVM wiki page. The documentation for th...

Wrong forum - this should be in the Dreamcast Port subforum. Support for the scummvm.ini was added to skip autodetection in the Dreamcast port around the end of July, 1.2.0 is the first version with that support (apart from previous SVN builds). I haven't tested any other parameters beyond the simpl...

ScummVM.ini support was added to the Dreamcast port, if the ini file is present on the CD the autodetection is bypassed, any game entries on the ini will display in the ScummVM menu. An easier way to achieve what you are trying to do is follow this example: 1 descramble SCUMMVM.BIN 2 add TINSEL.PLG ...

Can you post the text file before you run the script to create the DFW file?, it would make it a lot easier to proofread.bman wrote:An update is available here.
About 95% converted. Grammer about 99%. Humor ... could use some help.

I have a modified text file that does NOT require a ScummVM CRC change, so the initial 'patch' is just a cleanup fix. I just wanted to get other opinions and checks to get it cleaned up more thoroughly. I was going to send him a final attempt rather than a WIP. If I cannot find other folks to give ...

It would be a better idea to Just post a link to the English scripts for the game and ask for assistance: Dragon History English Script Anyone who has an interest in correcting the English translation can just download a file, correct it, and then re-post it (just by viewing most of the files with y...

Re: Need Help Burning
You can find a bootdisc of ScummVM 1.1.0 in Discjuggler format here.grim107 wrote:To top it off, I can't seem to get anything to boot in my DC unless it's been burnt with Discjuggler.

The main question being, before I pick up a copy of the game, is it possible it could be DC compatible someday? Could there be a way that the DC could recognize each disc separately in the scummvm menu, allowing for disc swap? Does the original game require a full install, or does it only use the d...

I had tried this on a Windows 98SE PC that I had an older version of Alcohol on. Does this require the latest version of Alcohol? Could you tell me which version of BootDreams, and which version of Alcohol you used successfully? Sorry for the late reply here, for Dreamcast stuff with CDDA I use Boo...

Missing game engines
The Subversion builds for the Dreamcast port seems to be way behind the others, I'm assuming that if the game engines were included in the builds they would have the extension '*.PLG' - there is no 'DRACI.PLG' (for Dragon History) or 'TEEN.PLG' (for TeenAgent). Any news as to when the engines will b...

As for the other games, I had burned them to a separate disk... no plg files on the disc... of course scummvm won't recognize the games! Don't forget that the Dreamcast port of ScummVM has disk swap support, you can use a boot disk with the complete plainfiles of the last official release (0.13.1),...

Re: 7th Guest on the Dreamcast?
UPDATE: Not only is the 7th Guest not detected, neither are FOTAQ, BASS, Drascula, or Lure... not really sure why that is... It sounds like you have made a mistake somewhere: BASS, FOTAQ, Drascula etc. will be detected with 0.13.1, I can not state wether the 7th Guest works because I do not have th...
