Re: Game Breaking Bugs in Quest for Glory IV
@ArthurWalden I'd say all known bugs have been fixed. Take a look here Scroll down and just read the comments of the massive amount of fixes Quest for Glory 4 has already received... Of course, if you come across any oddities that have not been fixed yet, don't hesitate to report them to the tracker

Re: Big Fish Games versions of the Blackwell Games Not Recognized
Same here, seems to be a regression
Could you post your md5sum (should be in the console when you try to add the game)
{"ac2game.dat", 0, "hexnumbers", numbers},
Or even better, report it to the bugtracker

Re: No Speech in The Dig on old 32Bit Notebook MX Linux ScummVM 2.7.0
if your old notebook has it's own cd drive, than that might be your culprit...those drives weaken and the older they get the more error prone.
You were just unlucky to hit one of those error readings with the game cd
glad you got it sorted

Re: No Speech in The Dig on old 32Bit Notebook MX Linux ScummVM 2.7.0
There is no mentioning of The Dig in your log...
Could you post one after starting the game?
You can ESC skip through the intro until the spaceship comes up, soon after there will be voice acting
Oh and make double sure there is a file called "DIGVOICE.BUN" in your game path

Re: Pajama Sam 1 (Steam) intermittent soft-lock
Apparently, this bug has finally been fixed, but is not live yet (daily builds feature the fix, though)
I'd love to say "Keep your apps updated, kids", but it's too early for that

Is FFMpeg the future?
Just curious.
Some of ScummVMs dependencies are already eol, but found a "new" life as part of FFMpeg.
Would ScummVM benefit from using FFMpeg code or would low end targets suffer?
Thank you
