Re: Cannot access game menu
Yeah same problem here. My virtual keyboard on android doesn't have any F-keys so I'm unable to save in most games. Also for some reason the current Android version seems to have fewer options than I remember. For instance mouse only works in relative mode and if I want direct mode there's no way to...

Re: Any update on shaders?
Wow Almeath how did you get a shader running on ScummVM? I'm not a programmer and have no idea on how to do compiling. Getting a CRT shader working on Scummvm has been a dream of mine for a long time. I've even kept a classic 1600x1200 monitor at hand at all times to be able to play classic games o...

Re: Games are sorted in GUI ignoring the articles
That's a great suggestion, I would also add sort by game developer to that. Maybe put them in groups for a better overview.

Re: Upscale 3D models to HD
I'm pretty sure DGvoodoo only changes the entire screen resolution, which results in the 3D models scaling to that resolution, like in every 3D game ever made.

Re: The Prince and the Coward gets English translation
"ScummVM versions 2.1.x will work, however, there is a problem with displaying inventory item descriptions. Thus, we recommend using the daily build." There's a bug in daily builds that doesn't occur in 2.1.x versions. When using daily build with Polish (I dont know if it occurs in German...

Re: ESRGAN: AI Neural Net Upscaling (For HiRes Packs?)
Tried some AI frame interpolation with DAIN: https://imgur.com/a/HBiCP72
Now if there was a way to use this on individual sprites + AI upscaling that would be something.![Mr. Green ](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)

Re: Any update on shaders?
For now you can use Reshade if you set the graphics mode to OpenGL. I've already posted a config for CMI here: viewtopic.php?p=88204#p88204

Re: ESRGAN: AI Neural Net Upscaling
Eugene, nobody is saying ESRGAN should come to ScummVM. We're merely talking about the possibility of hi res replacement art assets that can be loaded in on the fly with ESRGAN being used outside the game to prerender images. Like a "high resolution pack." Similar to the high quality musi...

Re: ESRGAN: AI Neural Net Upscaling
Note that as lovely as you can make the backgrounds, ESRGAN doesn't work on the small, pixelated characters. This means the best you can do is to have some filtering on the main characters, and the results will look very jarring. The alternative is to redo all the character sprites by hand. I think...

Re: Better Music for GM ScummVM (and DOSBox) games
@cwadge They can also be extracted with a old program called "SCI REsource Viewer" which you can find here: http://www.sierrahelp.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=456 The cool thing is with a lot of Sierra games there were unused music tracks hidden in the resource files (among other un...

Re: The Prince and the Coward goes supported
The game in 'The Prince and the Coward (German, CD Windows)\' seems to be an unknown game variant. Please report the following data to the ScummVM team at https://bugs.scummvm.org/ along with the name of the game you tried to add and its version, language, etc.: Matched game IDs for the The Prince ...

I'm pretty sure Scummvm is for 2D games only. This game has 3d characters.Harrypoppins wrote:Hello, any chance to see this project merged with the offical scummvm release ?

Wow, 5 yrs later and I still have the whole El Marrow sitting on 70% completion. The whole thing kinda stopped when DF released the remaster. I am gonna finish those backgrounds by the end of february and upload them so at least Year 1 is partialy Widescreen. As for your question, visit http://www....

Re: Curse Of Monkey Island - best graphic settings
I made a reshade config to remove most of the dithering in Curse Of Monkey Island! You can see the difference here: https://imgur.com/a/9HnXHmD I uploaded it here if anyone wants to use my settings: dead link Just extract into your ScummVM directory. ScummVM needs to be set to OpenGL mode and filter...
