That project has had 0 activity the last 12 months, as far as I can see from their commit logs. Yes, it looks almost like dead project. But this year I noticed change in the project info that "it will use ResidualVM as backend." It was not on the webpage when I checked it last year and th...

Discworld Noir Engine Reimplementation

There is a project Discworld Noir Engine Reimplementation that "intends the tinsel engine reimplementation by ScummVM to be able to load and play also Discworld Noir", the last game in Discworld series. It seems to be inactive for long time but this year its author put an info on Sourcefor...

The game seems to be unknown

I got this message on start of Grim Fandango (english version): The game in 'I:\GRIMDATA\' seems to be unknown. Please, report the following data to the ScummVM team along with name of the game you tried to add and its version/language/etc.: "grim.tab", "cfb333d6aec260c905151b6b98ef71...

Yes, so work was easier. But in LBA or AITD cases can help that there exist TwinEngine or Free in the Dark projects that are now abandoned. I think that would be pity to let them in that state.

I never heard this from developers of the project. I vote for adding FITD.

Like Elvira games or Lands of Lore which are part of ScummVM. I do not see a reason not to support adventure games with some action parts in ResidualVM. LBA would fit well a think.

Manny is the friggin' cursor! Yes, Manny is kind of the mouse cursor controlled by the keyboard. But you have to push button constantly when Manny is moving while with mouse a click is sufficient and some people prefer it. So I would let the gamers choose (of course only if it is possible to implem...

I remember many reviewers and also gamers criticized "cumbersome control" and lack of mouse support when the game was released. I got used to it but adding mouse support would some players surely appreciate.

ScummVM seems odd for a 3D game like LBA though. It is only pseudo 3D but still patch was not for that reason accepted. But I believe that it would be nice addition to ResidualVM. :) Seems unlikely we will get source for Noir in the near future, and the license for the game is a bit murky. But the ...

There is a patch with code from the twin-e project for Little Big Adventure support in ScummVM. The game should run with it but I did not test it.
