Hi, I recently got some PM's on another forum about the Wiz but it makes much more sense to make the offer here. If someone is willing to test builds and report back I am happy to do some recent builds for the Wiz. I will also do builds for the Caanoo, GP2X and OpenPandora at the same time. I can't ...

Just trying this as I am working on 1.8.1 builds but normally BASS is on my test list, odd as I am sure I tested it with 1.7.0.

I'll dig out the OpenPandora and have a test at some point this week.

Hi, What firmware do you have on your Wiz? Do you get anything of interest in the scummvm.*.txt files that get created when you run the app (should get created in the folder you have the GPE in). Unfortunately my only working Wiz is a pre-release unit with a half working screen and duff touchscreen ...

I realise I am digging up an old thread but just to close this one out. The pen on the Surface Pro (2) works just fine in ScummVM and I would expect the pen from the Pro 3 will also work just fine. I use mine for messing with ScummVM and also for some ScummVM development. The device has a fairly com...

1.7.0 Preview/Testing Builds

EDIT: These builds have been replaced with the final builds on the main ScummVM download pages. If you want to have a play with what should become the eventual 1.7.0 release for the GPH devices have a read of: http://blogs.distant-earth.com/wp/index.php/scummvm-pre1-7-0-testingpreview-builds/ Thank...

Hi, mass add should just work .

I'll try and find my OpenPandora to check there is not a weried problem that crept into the 1.5 release (moving house among other things so everything is a mess or boxed up, also why the 1.6.0 release has not been done for the OP yet).

Sweet, it is great to see people working on these sort of things.

I am keen to try the 'A Stitch in Time' patch as I have the German version of that any my German is no where near good enough and I never bothered to see what else was in the data files ;).

Hiya, A .bz2 is just a compressed archive file (much like a zip) and all the popular decompression tools can open it just fine. It is quite a common format for distributing these sort of applications. Assuming your using Windows most of the popular free archive tools will open the file without any p...

Just to add to this I did a little test with a friends Kindle Fire 2 after I rooted it.

No problems with ScummVM's normal Android builds as long as the plugins needed are installed. Tested with the SCUMM engine but I can't foresee problems with the other ones screen size and CPU grunt aside.

Actually, As it stands at the moment I would advise normal users stick with the very recent 1.5.0 release from the store and not to go trying untested trunk nightly builds if your looking for the solid, supported, experience ;). There are a fair few changes that are starting to hit truck (they alway...

Hi, Make sure you have the latest version of ScummVM installed from the Google Play store AND make sure you have the plugin for The Feeble Files also installed. To allow ScummVM to be usable on a very wide range of Android devices the game engines (plugins) are packaged separately from the main Scum...

Can you try the newer 1.5.0 release as these sort of problems should have been fixed up.

Thanks,

Hiya, Just acknowledged the bug report. Taking a look but can you also tell me if it occurs in the nightly builds (http://buildbot.scummvm.org/builds.html - Debug so DO NOT expect them to actually be usable) and a little more about your GPH device(s). Can't say I noticed that many problems with the ...
