Sometimes, the "What Is ScummVM?"-box has just the width of its header, and there's a large gap between it and the menu bar at the right.
I'm using Windows 2000 and Mozilla Firefox.

If you really want to record each tracks separately and let the engine mix them together, this should work with the exception of those dynamic speed and tune variations. It will be in deed much more complex than CMI. Good example is the Barbery Coast, where you hear a main track and an alternate mel...

http://www.logic.turntablism.info/mp3/bass1.mp3 Sounds nice. Live instruments should be used whenever possible, of course. Also, why not use Ogg Vorbis for this? Also while at it, I think ScummVM should support soundtrack replacement for all games, where this is possible. That should be all kind of...

What you'd have to do is to record samples of all the midi notes at all 128 patches produced by some old soundcard (preferably a sound blaster pro 2.0 IMO, love the sound of the midi synth in that card. Why? Because that's the first sound card I ever had ;)) Adlib emulation is ScummVM's default mid...

For example the E-Bass is substituted with a Piano  which up until now I wasn't sure if using the Piano was intended by the composer. The MT-32 doesn't even have a Piano sample. ;) Well, there is a preset called piano, though it's just a synthesizer sound. In fact, this is the most criticise...

I use the extracted ROM-Files for the MT32 emulator Then just select MT-32 emulation as the midi device! The settings for true MT-32 and GS should be irrelevant in that case. I own a Roland SCDB-55 which is similar to the Sound Canvas, and through my recherches on the net I gathered it has a MT32 c...

I mean it's just a matter of duplicating pixels (horizontally) or even whole scanlines (vertically), no fancy math involved. But then, it wouldn't be a super4xsai nor super5/6xsai or whatever. If a non enhancing scaler is what you want, a nearest neighbour resize code would make sense here. With th...

Meaning: With Simon1, Loom and Monkey1 I should turn ON Roland GS Mode? With the other games, I should turn it off? Not at all. If GS is on, ScummVM initializes midi with GS reset and set the reverb etc. to emulate the MT-32 settings instead of just sending a GM reset. ScummVM's internal translatio...

The MT-32 is a wavetable synthesizer. Simon 1, Loom and Monkey 1 are compatible with GS wavemapping. BASS, Monkey 2 and Indy 4 are not, since they programm their own synthesizer sounds, hence it is not compatible with GS synthesizer. If you want exactly the sound they were composed, you really need ...

Since several years, the PC mainboard usualy has SPDIFF on board. (You should be able to connect a CD-ROM drive with it, in order to find out how well it works. Compare the SPDIFF input with a ripped audio track. They should be exactly the same. Unfortunately, a digital connection might resample int...
