Re: How to update Monkey Island 4?
You do not need to apply/install it.
Simply place the exe file in the game folder, and ResidualVM will read any needed info straight out of it.
That is all.

Re: EFMI for Mac & the 1.1.2 Update
Just download the *.exe patch from ResidualVM's download page and place it in the game direcytory folder. It should work with the mac version as well.
I think placing the mac patch in the directory should work as well, but am unsure if it has been implemented.

I'll try and figure out a full list this evening, unless anyone else wants to take care of it. Great! I would help, if I kne...

Re: Discworld Noir Engine Reimplementation
No, the source is not available. There are(a few) similarities with the ScummVM TINSEL engine though.

Sounds a bit like the Blade Runner game to me. Or even Beneath a Steel Sky.Robot_Maker20 wrote:Second one sounds like my kind of game, but I can't think which game it could be. Nightlong:Union City Conspiracy springs to mind, but the protagonist in that was bald. Ooh, or very possibly the Fifth Element game?

Re: Recreating the backgrounds
The background animation is actually smush video, like the cutscenes. God luck redoing those.
