Hello Samwise I take it that you've tried running the Idigicon versions of Simon 1 & 2 on an Win XP comp? Because I looked up Simon 1 & 2 on idigicon.com website & both mention (in their minimum requirements section of the ads) - Later versions of Windows are supported after downloading ...

Thanks for that Peres! I think I'll have to load up the Amiga version I've got (dreaded floppies). I definitely have fonder memories whilst playing it on the Amiga - those sound effects must have helped. Another thing the pc version (through ScummVM) went back to the desktop in the taxi scene (with ...

Don't know how my midi control moved to zero but you were right :o . Adjusted midi contol - now I have the music although I thought I remembered car noises on the highway. At least I think it had car noises when I played it on an Amiga (this being a PC version of course). I'll tinker a bit more &...

I'm running Win XP.
No error messages when the game is running - just no audio.
I have all the files in a folder on the hard drive.
I have played the obvious sound files - boogie2,Dino,Donna,Intro,Nuts & Soft, all through media player so these files work ok.

How do you get audio in Nippon Safes

I have all the files necessary in place as mentioned by Peres (on 23rd May 07) & have the game running through ScummVM 10.00 but no audio (e.g cars driving past outside on the road - just outside from prison). I have tried changing the audio from default to Win / adlib (also mt32 - green text wa...

Any reason to use VDMSound for Kyrandia 1 when ScummVM supports it? :-) Well you could say why use ScummVM for BS1/2* & COMI I personally think ScummVM is GREAT but use it for games that would be very awkward to run otherwise. For games that only need the Windows compatability function** I see ...

I have it working!! - some bird chirps & who knows maybe other sounds further into the game :) First I removed from the GUI all games which said English (US) & then individually got them back in the GUI, but this time with a slightly different discription & now English with no mention of...

Sound - day of the tentacle (CD)

Jwrath asked previously - For example: At MS DOS when I started the game I could hear the bird from the introduction singing. Now with SCUMMVM I can't hear it. Is there an option that can enable the game to sound better? eriktorbjorn replied - The bird chirping in The Day of the Tentacle is a MIDI i...

As the manual is also copyrighted material, I would guess that you're violating rule #0. Not to appear rude or something... Dear Herrscher I think you may have over reacted to what is only a document & not a game or part game. While you say may be officially correct, there are 3 things to take ...

I very much doubt that you will get much joy from either company as these titles have long been deleted (also I don't think there is any white label games anymore). Not sure if this is any help but you can download - Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade - The Graphic Adventure - Grail Diary From - htt...

ScummVM Build 0.9.1 - Changes

I just read the release notes & notice that - Kyrandia: - Scrolling in the Kyrandia intro is less CPU intensive, at the cost of not being as smooth as before. Whilst I've not downloaded/tried the new version, I politely ask the developers was it really necessary to make a slight degrade? Surely ...

Simon the Sorcerer 3

I've got all 3 Simon games & only the first 2 can be played by mouse. As Simon 3 can only be played by keyboard I was wondering if any of you clever techies have or can create a patch so that the game can be played by mouse or joypad (I use my trusty Microsoft Sidewinder pad with Grim Fandango)....

A BIG well done to Clem & Raina for the improvements to the site :) But I have to agree with Olki that the white background is a bit hard on the eyes.
