Re: Android 2.7.1 beta

Re: Android 2.7.1 beta

Ok, thanks for your help and for letting them know in the Discord channel. I've been looking into those device shortcuts options and testing more combinations, but with no luck. Still doesn't work in ScummVM.

I'll look that bug tracker, thanks.

Re: Android 2.7.1 beta

Hmm, maybe it's a case of back button being mapped to something that interferes with the long press. Either in ScummVM keymapper (if you did a custom mapping for it, the default should be ok) or on the device for whatever reason. What is the specific device model? You're more likely want to downloa...

Re: Android 2.7.1 beta

I can only test on Android 12 on a physical device, but on Android 12 I cannot reproduce the issue. It could be something specific for Android 13. Does the Global Main Menu come up when you press the icon with the three horizontal lines on the top right? Do you have the virtual keyboard on when tes...

Android 2.7.1 beta

Hi,

I'm using Android 13, and I'm not sure if it's because of that (going from Android 12 to 13) or because the new v2.7.1, but now the long press system Back button does not open Global Main Menu anymore.

Also, It would be nice that screen orientation changes when turning our device.

Ok, I see. Thanks!

Re: Few issues with 2.7.0 daily build

I can reproduce both of these issues on my device. I believe the first one could be resolved easily since it's cause by a non-typical way we set the save path on Android (as a launch parameter). It would require some testing but we've already quickly discussed in the dev team that this can go away....

Re: ScummVM 2.7.0: “The Real Slim Shader”

I've been playing a little with this 2.7.0 version in my Android device and it works really well. The best version so far for sure. Thanks for you work guys!! Although I miss a few options. Mainly, the autoturn landscape orientation (which I thinks that Praetorian said it will be added), and maybe a...

Re: Few issues with 2.7.0 daily build

About the save path and the xbr shaders, please let me know if you can reproduce the issues if you can check It. Just to know if it's an issue caused by my device or not. I can reproduce both of these issues on my device. I believe the first one could be resolved easily since it's cause by a non-ty...

Re: Few issues with 2.7.0 daily build

You can make the message go away, if you installed the CD audio or the SE audio tracks (both are extracted from your Special Edition version based on your choice when you run the Ultimate Talkie installer), and you point the Extras folder under "Game Options"->"Extra Path" to th...

Re: Few issues with 2.7.0 daily build

Hello, can you specify what version you've installed? Is it the beta that is currently (since yesterday-ish) on Play Store? Umm, the one in the Play Store (at least that is what I see) is v2.5.0 (from october 2021), not 2.7.0. The APK I installed is from here: https://buildbot.scummvm.org/#/dailybu...

Few issues with 2.7.0 daily build

Hi, I've installed the last daily build for Android because in 2.6.1 the touchpad emulation does not work in my device (touchpad works fine in 2.7.0), but I have a few 'issues' (not exactly issues): First, I can't change the save folder path. If I change it, the next time I launch Scummvm it says to...

Re: No SDL surface option

Anyway, I will use that 2.0.0 version. As far as I mostly want to play Lucasarts graphic adventures, I guess that version it's fine for those games, isn't? Yes, I believe for the most part those will play without issues, at least the popular DOS/Windows versions of them. There have been multiple bu...

Re: No SDL surface option

Hello, The Android port is OpenGL only. There are scaling options for the GUI, but they are under the "Options"->"Misc" tab -> "GUI Scale" dropdown menu. The SDL Scaler options (AdvMame, HQ, SuperSAI, SuperEagle etc) have not yet been implemented for OpenGL mode -- the...
