Re: Conquests of the Longbow -- Reinsert deer scene's

That is a great documentary!!

So it seems it was considered and looked into thoroughly, but resulted in reasons not too.
Would indeed have been a nice optional feature.

Is that footage somewhere uploaded on Youtube or only part of Oneshorteye’s documentary?

Conquests of the Longbow -- Reinsert deer scene's

Hi ScummVM team, I understood the game Conquests of the Longbow includes sprites for animals such as birds, bunny's and deer to appear in the woods as you wander around. Turns out only the bunny and the deer are included in the games code, but coded in such a way they can not appear, save for a grin...

Re: Freddy Pharkas ACT3 Shovel bug

I don't think it was a similar issue given that their game crashed while mine didn't. But, with some shame on my part, I managed find out that there is no issue at all, just a gross misunderstanding on my part on Freddy Pharkas' inventory screen design. There was this "more" button I did n...

Freddy Pharkas ACT3 Shovel bug

Hi, I'm playing through Freddy Pharkas on ScummVM (latest official build) and during ACT 3 you're supposed to grab a shovel and dig up a grave. However, once you pick up the shovel it does not turn up in the inventory. I've tried to restore several times, but this bug comes up every time and will no...

Re: Leisure suit larry 6 hi-res Oil lamp

Yes, that is the one. The resolution though is not clear to me. I'm indeed playing the original CD version and ScuMMVM does recognize it as the Hi-res version. I've bought since also the GOG version of the Larry collection which I assume has the same HI-res version, but I expect when I try the GOG v...

Leisure suit larry 6 hi-res Oil lamp

Good afternoon, While playing Larry 6 Hi-res al the way through, close to the end you have to fill the oil lamp with cellulite. The game freezes while filling the lamp and there does not seem to be a way to get past this point. A quick search learned me that this question was asked once before back ...

Re: Sherlock Holmes and the case of the serrated scalpel

I could, but I was under the impression that installing a daily build would overwrite the official 2.5.1 version and it come with some risks, so generally I'd rather stick with the official builds.

Re: Sherlock Holmes and the case of the serrated scalpel

My version is 27,7 MB. I don't know if that is the large or small install version. I've saved the files +20 years ago, not sure what install this was.

Sherlock Holmes and the case of the serrated scalpel

I've just run this game on the latest scummvm and noticed that the introduction is playing very slowly, right after the logo. This did not use to be the case in an earlier scummvm version (don't remember which one I used prior). Could this be related to a particular setting I should tweak? Thanks much

Re: Better Music for GM ScummVM (and DOSBox) games

Catched-on this thread a bit late, but I've been using FluidR3 soundfont which always sound well to me.

Any experience with this one vs what is now recommended?

Re: Window size ScummVM GUI & Games

Yes, removing those two lines from the ini file did it.

Thanks for the tip. Top job on implementing these precalculated settings, works like a charm.

Window size ScummVM GUI & Games

HI all, I may have a bit of a silly question. I've used ScummVM a lot over the time, but not recently. Then once I started using it again, I download the latest version (2.5), whereas my previous version must have been 2.2 or below. In the past I know I always struggled to get games to play at a pro...

Thanks. That worked. Now I have a similar issue with the compress_scumm_bun and compress_scumm_san programs (that I intend to use with Curse of Monkey island). No matter what I try, it just results in a syntax description on how to use the command. I put bot files in the same directory as the resour...

Issue with Compress_sword1

Hi, I have a question. I have been using scummvm to play my broken sword 1 and 2 games as my original CD's are making so much noise in the CD-drive it becomes unbearable. Also playing those games full screen is somwhat shimmy to my eyes ;-) ScummVm works like a charm and when I heard about a compres...
