That's normal and can be safely ignored. The game scripts apparently probe the game version that way. Thats good to here I guess I can get on with playing the game now without having to worry about missing anything. I know this process works in principle - it can be used for example on the Infocom games also on BTTR to enable them to be opened in WinFrotz and co. I can't remember if the Sierra games came on standard disks but to be HD-installable I assume they'd have to be. Yes that approach works fine as well...

And the best part is with the help of ADF View (http://www.viksoe.dk/adfview/) you can extract the files from the adf images and play the supported games with scummvm.

In this case you are not doing anything wrong. The problem is that Monkey Island only support sound effects when in adlib music mode. Thats why they released the CD versions of Monkey Island as they allow you to have good sounding music at the same time as sound effects by pre recording the midi mus...

Is it just me or dose save not work with ether elvira 1 or 2 with current SVN builds for windows.

I have the english dos versions of the games from the Elvra Horror Pack and keep getting the error message "WARNING: saveGame: Failed to save slot 1!" when ever I try to save.

Changing the default midi device may work under Windows XP to select the midi device that scummvm should use, but how do you do that under Windows Vista as it no longer lets you select your default midi device?

I usually count number of spots of same color and locate them on some particular jeans wrinkle. Still it often takes 3+ times to pass through it. Eugene I don't know if it is a bug in scummvm or just luck but I have just tried my version of Future wars under DOSBOX and got the code right 1st attemp...

It's good to see WinCE 2002 support back again now I can update the version of scummvm installed on my iPAQ 3950.
