I'm using a Gamecube without modification, an SD Media Launcher from Datel ( Using an SD Card, and a CD) and the version of Scummvm called scummvmgc-p3 . My problem: I can't save with any game (Full Throttle, Sam & Max, Monkey...) each time I have the following message "Failed to save on (...
I'm still using the old PSO/BBA method to run GC-Linux and I've noticed this problem only when I'm using the Roland emulation with the special ROM set in ScummVM. The cube doesn't seem to have enough RAM for it IMHO. From memory all my SCUMM games have the audio converted to OGG format and the bun ...
I've detected the saving problem, I will fix it and release the new package tonight.
As for the usage of a miniDVD, I am having trouble finding a miniDVD that my GameCube can read reliably, as soon as I get one I will be able to add this to the release.
I emailed Rodo with my test results and havent heard anything as yet :( All we need is the ability to input "1" and "Return" and this emulator would be perfect! 8) My apologies for not replying before, I will be working on the controls this week to allow the input of some number...
I have uploaded "ScummVM for GC - Boot Preview 2", http://rododev.googlepages.com/home , this release will hopefully fix the issue where the file scummvm-fs.bz2 wasn't found (note that this file is named scummvmf.bz2 now). Could someone rehost the file, as I have noticed the bandwidth limi...
Could people who didnt get it to work confirm the file system type of the sdcard where the scummvm-fs.bz2 file is located? (i.e. FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, ext3, etc).
Then : I have a Gamecube with a VIPER GC puce, and am unable to make this program works : I burn all in a dvd and launch the dol File by An explorer include with a Bios named Cobra. Problem : The program try to connect/mount an SD Card, but I haven't one... Someone with the same problem ? A solutio...
I don't think it's anything to do with the large size SD card. I'm having trouble getting it to work on my Gamecubes (I have both PAL and NTSC consoles). We have a very similar setup, I'm using a Viking 128MB SD card rather than an XFlash 2 GB card with an SD Gecko adapter. I can see you are experi...
I just tried ScummVMGC with a friend's SDCard but it didn't work. I made everything written in the txt-file but after loading scummvm.dol the screen turns black and nothing happens. Could you tell me more about your system: region (NTSC/PAL), method for uploading the .DOL (SDLoad/PSOLoad), GC SDCar...
Hey guys, I would like to know if it is possible to run the GC version of ScummVM without an SD Card. I only have a qoobPro modchip which allows me to boot homebrew software but is it possible to run ScummVM with it (by burning all the nescesary files on a DVD)? What about saving? Does it work on a...
Roman wrote:Another question: Your LibSDL is a lot smaller than the one found in SuperTux Take II from GC-Linux.org. Is yours an older one or is it a new one especially compiled for the needs of ScummVM?
From what I can see, it's the same version, but I built it specifically for ScummVM.
I am happy you enjoyed the GC-Linux build. BTW: Is this a daily build or a stable one? The build was based on the ScummVM 0.9.1 stable release source code. Since you can compile it: Would it be possible to map the numpad to the yellow control stick? This way the user could enter the copy protections...
