The pre-0.10.0 build seems to run fine on Nokia E60 (S60 3rd), except for the expired certificate. You have to set the date back be able to install it. :( A question about the zone key: Have you changed the zone key code in the 2007-05-22 version (or maybe even in the 2007-03-22, pre-0.10.0 behaves ...

I have uploaded new S60v3 and UIQ3 version, which for S60v3 does n't crash on 0+1.. enables better multitap input and bugfixes. Well, after I had some bad experiences with past builds, I tried the current scummvm-070311-SymbianS60v3_all.sis on my E60. Bad news: The nice green icon (the S) is now a ...

070228 build on E60

Well, some short feedback about the scummvm-070228-SymbianS60v3_all.sis build on my E60: I can install and start it, add games. I tried to run Sam&Max and it seems to work. Drawbacks are: Skip key # does not work in title cut scenes of Sam&Max (German), although assigned correctly. Is this i...

Re: Vertical scroll whatever bug.

Is there any way of going around of the vertical scroll bug?? The scummvm-060917-SymbianS60v3_scumm.sis build from the SVN builds http://anotherguest.k0.se/cvsbuilds/ should do for the SCUMM games. At least it worked for MI1+2,Dott,Sam&Max on my E60. Don't know about BASS and the _all or _sky b...

Hmm. My first guess is that this is the same bug as the one known as "vertical scroll bug" (Tracker ID 1513002). I tried the DOTT scene in my scummvm-060917-SymbianS60v3_scumm.sis build, and whoops, the same effect as with vertical scrolling occurred here sideways: The scrolling to the rig...

Hmmm. At the moment I am not sure that it could be a memory problem. I tried the big scummvm-060917-SymbianS60v3_all.sis version and there the scrolling takes place in the lowes 5 (or so) pixel rows, but it does not crash . To reproduce the crash on 0.9.1 you could use the savegame for Indy4 (DOS, G...

Vertical scroll bug (ScummVM 0.9.0, 0.9.1)

Hi Anotherguest, unfortunately, after being kind of fixed in the 17-09-2006 build, the vertical scroll bug reappeared in the 0.9.1 release, 3rd edition on Nokia E60. Maybe it is a memory problem, and maybe a smaller scumm only build could solve the problem -- don't know. I reopened the corresponding...

@razorbee: Have you tried the latest SVN build from http://anotherguest.k0.se/cvsbuilds/ ? The problem should have been fixed in that release. I tried the map and cliff scene of MI2 with the scummvm-060917-SymbianS60v3_scumm.sis build on my E60 (which has a even bigger screen resolution than your E6...

Maybe it's only a problem of the test version? I tried the S60v3-all version wich runs without problems, including savegames.

Guess what, validating savegames could be really a memory problem. At last I tried the scummvm-060917-SymbianS60v3_scumm.sis SVN build on the E60 instead of the full test build scummvm-060916-SymbianS60v3_test.sis. Results: - Can load all savegames from old and new versions so far. :) - Tha ...

Well, at last I found some time for testing and got todays (06-09-17) SVN code snapshot and compile it under linux. The resulting linux binary could load savegames of: + linux 0.9.0 + linux 06-09-17 + S60v3 06-06-11 + S60v3 06-09-16 ScummVM S60v3 06-06-11 could also load all of them. ScummVM S60v3 0...

Can you please test with a svn build of the Windows version to see if the save games works on that one? Sorry, don't have a compiler for Windows installed. I could try the linux binary compiled from the latest snapshot tomorrow instead. One observation that may help you to narrow down the problem: ...

Hi Anotherguest, at a first glance the S60v3 build seems to run fine on my Nokia E60. :D One major drawback: As someone already posted, the savegame format seems to be incompatible to 0.9.0 (release) and previous versions. Since all my savegames of currently running games are in the old format, I ca...

Re: Version 0.9.0 bug

Sounds like the vertical scroll bug, which has already been reported some time ago. Hopefully there will be a new version or at least a SVN build with vertical scroll support soon - maybe after holiday season, perhaps? :D Meanwhile you should perhaps use the latest SVN build for games with vertical ...

Re: escummvm on Nokia E60 Symbian OS9.1 3rd

Which graphics mode do you use? In the upscaled swapped landscape version (Imho keys sequence 0+2,0+2,0+4,0+3 :D ) this effect also occurs, but only with an offset of 1 or 2 pixels, which is hard to notice most of the time. If you dislike it, swap the screen to left-handed using 0+3, then it does no...
