Also do i need the file that say you need for scumm post 7.0 thingy?

I downloaded bass(pc cd) and then I tried to unzip it and it said insert a music mix cd(or something like that), so I downloaded the floppy version. Is there a difference between pc cd and floppy, becuase if there is I would like to use the pc cd version.
