Forum question

Would it be possible to add links for the next/prev. pages (for long posts which span multiple pages) to the bottom of the page also? If I want to read a long thread, I have to scroll back up to go to the next page which is rather annoying. Additionally some people might not notice that the thread h...

IIRC the GUI will be reworked again anyway, I remember seeing a mockup screenshot postet on IRC once. It'll look a bit like this forum, with the new Logo and stuff.

Oh, and talking about the new logo, how's the website redesign progressing?

A woodchuck could chuck no amount of wood since a woodchuck can't chuck wood

(Sorry, couldn't resist )

Of course you could try to use uncompressed pictures with some program (I think it doesn't work with CamStudio that way), but you would need a VERY, VERY, VERY BIG hard drive. Actually it might be better to use a codec than capturing the video uncompressed, because it'll put a high burden on your d...

I don't quite get where you want to put that "s", but there's definitely a typo: "If your curious..." should be "If you're curious..."

Here's a snippet from an old IRC log that might help you: [18:08] <Dark-Star> anyone know what options I have to throw at mencoder to have it create a valid MPEG-2 file? [18:09] <Dark-Star> for me it only creates an MPEG-1, even though I use "-lav...

OK, I'll get MSVC.NET installed on this thing next week anyway, then I'll look into the problem some more.
Thanks anyway.

try deleting them in the main menu and let ScummVM re-detect them. Some of the game IDs have changed, I had a similar problem once.

Problem with Win32 build

OK, I'm pretty stumped on this one, so maybe anyone else can give me a hint. I've been building and running ScummVM on Win32/MSVC successfully for quite some time now, but now I've got a problem. I've got a company laptop on which I'd like to put ScummVM. But no matter which EXE I copy there (either...

Just an idea:

Maybe you could borrow your CD to one of the devs who might be willing to look at it?

It's described in the README

What I'd try first is playing through the game from scratch. It is entirely possible that the bug happens because of the 0.7.0 savegame you're using.

Sorry that I can't offer any better help than that...

well, that sounds like it's more complicated than I thought... So this would basically mean adding another blitting layer to OSystem?

It looks like all I'll be able to offer there is some bug-hunting/testing skills...

Kanji font problems

Hi, I just compiled today's CVS and I noticed that there are (still) some drawing errors in the japanese version of Loom (FmTowns): http://bb.domaindlx.com/docwagon/scummvm_kanji_bug.png Seems like on the left side there's 3 characters written over each other: the little circle (。), the h...
