Thanks, working now!joachimeberhard wrote:Try moving the *.lfl files to a seperate folder.
maniac.ovl is not needed by ScummVM, but also belongs to MM.
Then add MM in the new folder to ScummVM and run it.
There is a little bug with more than 1 game in 1 directory ATM.

where is MM in Mac version of DOTT?
Three cheers for 0.8.2! Now I can finally load and play my Mac version of DOTT correctly. However, I am having some trouble finding the bonus Maniac Mansion game included. From compatibility chart: "Maniac Mansion isn't playable on Ed's computer. To play the included copy, use 'Add Game' from t...

can't find Dig data file! (for mac)
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't figure out where the Dig data file is on the Mac CD. I've searched this site and still can't figure it out; it seems like there is supposed to be a file clearly named "The Dig Data,"but there is no such file on my CD. I see a folder which is cal...

The tools for ScummVM are run from the terminal or an xterm. So open a terminal, cd into the game directory and then do something like, /path/to/ScummVM/Tools/extract_scumm_mac <whichever options you need to specify> I've never used extract_scumm_mac so I don't know what options you will need. ok. ...

Re: stumped about 0.8.0 with Mac OS X
Well for a start, I think if you open Console that is installed in /Applications/Utilities and select the console.log you should see any error messages from ScummVM (hopefully). If there are some error messages post them here and we'll go to the next stage of fixing it for you. I would hazard a gue...

stumped about 0.8.0 with Mac OS X
Please pity a poor noobie. I swear I've read the ReadMe and the FAQ and the back posts here and I just can't figure out how to get ScummVM working on my Mac. I'm using a G3 iBook with OS 10.2.8. I downloaded ScummVM 0.8.0 and the tools package. I'm trying right now to use Sam and Max. I copied the g...
