Re: "Back For More?"
Nice that more games are supported. But when I see Clandestiny, I always wonder who thought it was a good idea to create a game where people speak in a thick Scottish accent and there are verbal cues, puns and rhymes, but no subtitles.

Re: Discworld1 PC + PSX Speeches - Possible?
I am also watching with interest :) PSX version in ScummVM has no original music support, but it has comparable graphics as PC version plus better speech. So maybe Discworld Enhanced Soundtrack tweaked for PSX version would be a good option for some people, who want to play the game with the best p...

Re: Discworld1 PC + PSX Speeches - Possible?
I'm interested in this too. I'm not sure what approach would be the best, but any solution would be better than none.

Re: Adding some obscure games to ScummVM?
I agree too. It is just my wish, but developers may do something else if they wish, of course.

Re: Adding some obscure games to ScummVM?
I would be more happy, if developers spent their valuable time on something else than obscure Portuguese games in Portuguese only about history of Portuguese colonization. These games have a government propaganda purpose and if government sponsored them, they should finance a port as well.

Re: Sanitarium Engine - All help is welcome
Excellent. I played the game again recently and thought how great would be completed ScummVM support and also how nice candidate Sanitarium would then be for AI upscaling project.

Re: *UPDATES!* ESRGAN AI Upscaling (HiRes packs now possible!)
I agree and hope that some fan made remaster will be better than that. But I can live with the official remastered versions and would prefer MI3 HR first. Also MI4 HR would be nice. I liked MI1-3 more, but still would like to play MI4 with better graphics. There is 3D in this game, so HiRes support ...

Re: ESRGAN: AI Neural Net Upscaling (For HiRes Packs?)
I think that the best results will be probably achieved with VGA and SVGA games, it would be interesting to see for example upscaled Torin's Passage or King's Quest VII.

Re: ESRGAN: AI Neural Net Upscaling (For HiRes Packs?)
So far only the SCI engine (and not even all SCI games) are supported. I could see this expanding though down the road. Yes, the description of the project on github states "engines" so there will be probably more than one added. I hope that one day, maybe with help from some other develo...

Re: ESRGAN: AI Neural Net Upscaling (For HiRes Packs?)
Nice. BTW: There are many people currently on these forums and the most users ever online were soon after this project was announced. It could be taken sort of as a poll about demand for this feature.

Re: ESRGAN: AI Neural Net Upscaling (For HiRes Packs?)
It looks like this is coming along nicely. Yes, it seems that we are close to having SCI support. :) I wonder how difficult will be to implement this for other engines. I've recently tried to play The Curse of Monkey Island on a large screen TV and it did not look too good. So I fiddled with xBRZ, ...
