Re: ScummVM 2.1.0 unavailable on Google Play Store

Any news on this? I've pushed some fixes in the development build for Android last week that will be used as a basis for the issue of upgrading from an old config (previous app version) and compatibility with newer Android OS (9+). If anyone's not upgrading from an old scummvm app , they could test...

Re: Port progress & nightly builds

In the bug tracker only appears 'android' as backend, no 'androidsdl' I should submit the bug as 'android' or nothing at all, as you have switched to the native backend? I would suggest setting "Component" to "Port: Android" and prepend the title of the ticket (Summary field) wi...

Re: LucasArts games (ALL) erroring out

Yes, the other message I received is: WARNING: no voice is available for language: es! As far as I know this is a "low level" warning. It is indeed connected to the text-to-speech module, and it does appear even when not using the TTS feature, at least in my windows builds, when the langu...

Re: Port progress & nightly builds

I've managed to get a working build of this onto my tablet but on installing, it didn't create a shortcut on the 'desktop' and I can't find the master file in order to make a shortcut - any ideas please/ Thanks Which scummVM build did you try by the way? Does this video help? This is more or less h...

Re: no onscreen console

OS: Windows 10 I have to press Ctrl+d to bring up the onscreen console (debugger) to type in for example the 'room' command in the older ScummVM verisons. In the Windows versions of the ScummVM 2.1.0 and v2.1.1 (x64) versions the ScummVM switch to the 'ScummVM Status Windows' and It says 'Debugger ...

Re: ScummVM can't load/find any directories.

Hey all excitedly bought Blade Runner today to finally replay. Downloaded 2.1.1 from the daily builds page, gave the app storage permissions but it doesn't seem to have access to the memory at all. :( Any tips as I finally want to get BR in my face A known workaround for this issue is to type "...

Re: Port progress & nightly builds

When can we also see it on the Play Store? There's been some additional work (organizational) about the mobile ports and, at least speaking for myself, I finally have a bit more spare time in my hands (don't know how long this spell will last, though). I don't think we can talk dates as of yet, but...

Re: Port progress & nightly builds

I use a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with Exynos 4412 Quad (32 nm) chipset and Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU - what build should I get to try and run on it? Many thanks An " Android (ARM) " stable 2.1.1 build (just released) or a 2.2.0 developer build ( if you don't care about keeping any e...

Re: Beneath a Steel Sky: Accessing Inventory on Android

Can someone provide more instructions here? For example, I enabled the touchscreen mode, but I still can't figure out how to get the inventory to show up. [Apologies if this is already documented somewhere] With "touchpad" mode enabled just move the mouse cursor (arrow) to the top of the ...

Probably not supposed to happen, but I don't know if any of the dev team are testing aarch64 builds.

I'd suggest to also open a ticket for this in the scummvm bug tracker.
Is only Toonstruck affected by the way?

Re: Skipping Dialogue (.)

As soon as the important (show stopping) bugs in the Andoird port are fixed, I will look into this feature request -- or maybe someone else will beat me to it :)

I definitely see the point to it, even though I am not a fan of how the SDL port managed it.

Re: Skipping Dialogue (.)

Is this function implemented in some way in the Android port? Im using the play store version since the last nightly build (2.2.0git) crashes on startup. Im starting with The Dig and I cant skip dialogues without raising up the keyboard and obscuring quite a bit of the screen, more often than not, ...

Re: Port progress & nightly builds

Wow, that is sad to know. If I were to download the daily build for Android, which one should I get to play blade runner? Since there are a few builds for Android, namely 'Android ARM' , 'Android ARM64' and 'Android x86'. This depends on your phone model, and its processor architecture specifically...

Re: Westwood’s Blade Runner (1997) is finally available for purchase as a digital copy

Thanks to you I actually found out such brilliant game exists! However seeing it for the first time these days I find the graphics quite blocky. I am aware how praised the graphics are using the revolutionary technology and looking all quite cinematic however the heavy blockyness is undeniable. Wou...

Re: Right click not working in Lands of Lore

When you were downloading it, did you by chance noticed how the app description starts? NOT WORKING ON ANDROID 7+ And you're trying it on Android 10 :D :D And before you ask, no, we cannot do much with it, we have no porter. I am in fact, very tempted to remove ScummVM form the Play Store. People j...
