Kerpo,

Did you test with the latest stable release of ScummVM? Or did you use a daily build from the trunk?

Ahm, Ok, thanks for the explanation! So, I assume it's safe to say that, for 320x200 games, the "aspect_ratio=true" parameter will override the opengl gfx mode. With these older games, if you set "aspect_ratio=true", then the value of OpenGL (normal or conserve) is completely irr...

Aaahm, ok, now I understand. I hadn't thought that 320x200 is also 16:10, like my monitor!! (1680x1050)

It makes sense now. Thanks!

I have installed the latest daily build for win32 and I must say I love it! The text is now really crisp and gorgeous when using OpenGL and the nearest neighbor filtering. Pressing CTRL-ALT-F toggles between filtering modes and the difference in sharpness is absolutely incredible!! I just have one q...

Use this:

http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/en/index.p ... /download/

You have to compress them using FLAC, and remember that you'll have to rename the resulting files!

Track02.flac to Track1.flac

Track03.flac to Track2.flac

etc.

Regards.

I wonder where you got that 1.40 version from, our current release is still at 1.4.0. Hey, I got it from the same girl who comes from the future and brings us new bleach! ;) (cannot post the link, the forum says it's spam) PS: It's a typical joke in Spain, sorry! It will probably be named "tar...

I've tested the M1 ultimate talkie builder RC4 with scummvm 1.40 and seems to work correctly.

Keyboard shortcuts CTRL-a, CTRL-p and CTRL-q work, but I can't find the monkey.cfg file anywhere.

Where is the monkey.cfg file now??

Regarding the "upcoming faithful MT-32 emulation": As has been mentioned before (to death), no need to be excited about the MT-32 emulation unless you actually own an MT-32. No need to get excited about MI1:UTE unless you own MI1:SE. You can also run the new MT-32 emulation separately as ...

This patch being included in the official ScummVM, together with the renewed effort in the MT-32 emulator are both GREAT news! If I've understood correctly, we will soon be able to choose the music for MI1 (CD tracks vs the upcoming faithful MT-32 emulation) independently from the speech with the of...

The approach taken by Dosbox is the best. Much, much better than what ScummVM does currently. With dosbox I can simply edit the conf file and set the resolution to 1680x1050. Dosbox will automatically scale the image to 1400x1050 and fill the rest of the screen with black pixels to get the exact res...

I've recently seen this blog: http://lucasartsworkshop.wordpress.com/2009/11/09/secret-of-monkey-island-%E2%80%93-the-deleted-extended-scenes/ And I was wondering: can those deleted scenes be re-activated in scummvm somehow? Do they exist in the actual game files shipped to customers? Or are they pr...

Ok, problem solved. I had incorrect registry entries (seems that I fiddled with MIDI Yoke settings enough to bork it). I uninstalled MIDI Yoke, obliterated all the remaining registry entries (by searching for "Yoke" and deleting all its entries). Rebooted, reinstalled MIDI Yoke and now it'...
